The space is clean and inviting. The owner and daughter are very nice and accommodating. They are quick and very sweet with my dog.

I would not recommend bringing any cat to this place. I made the mistake of bringing my cat there and Tina (who loves to scream and curse) decided to try and defend her “skills” rather than admitting she dropped the ball. I understand cats are not easy sometimes. But when you have barking dogs scaring them, what do you expect?! I asked who the owner was and I was told “it’s a family business, I own it” just to find out she does not own it. Which only leads me to believer this isn’t the first time she’s upset customers and doesn’t want the real owner to find out. Terrible experience I was going there for years dealing with Lisa who is absolutely amazing but thanks to this whacko I will never ever go back.

Things you don't want to hear at the groomer.
"MAAAA YOU DONT HAVE TO CHOKE HIM!!!"
"MAAAA YOU AREN'T LISTENING TO ME YOU ARE HOLDING HIM WRONG!!!" All this as you hear your pet crying by the way.
I spoke to the woman who runs this place ahead of time. I told her that I had a large Maine Coon Cat who needs a muzzle a leash and at least 2 people. She tried to do it herself and realized that she couldn't handle it so she called in another person to help. An hour later her elderly mom arrives who is obviously untrained and not able to handle a large cat or perhaps any cat for that matter. Within 1 minute the daughter is literally screaming at her mother directly over my cat who is now more scared than he was a minute ago. I repeatedly asked the owner to stop screaming as it was upsetting my cat. She did not. I then asked if I could come and assist but she was adamant that her mother could do the job. After hearing "MAAAA YOU DONT HAVE TO CHOKE HIM!!!" I had enough and I went behind the counter to help. That is when I saw the mother choking my cat while the daughter continued to scream at her. I also saw that my cat was bleeding from both paws and his chin. I said "Why is he bleeding?" The owner said, "Oh he did that to himself trying to take the restraints off." Well first of all the restraints that I inquired about over the phone were not there. I said he needs a leash and a muzzle. She just put a muzzle and a plastic cone over his head which he pulls off in 1 second and supposedly he cut himself on that cone. If this woman had the proper equipment,(That I told her about and she said she had) there would not have been a problem. Also my cat has taken a muzzle off many times and he never bled from it let alone from 3 different places on his body. My cat has been groomed 10x in the city and he never came back bloody and choked! Also he is a Maine Coon Cat which are known for their mains. I specifically said to leave his main but she butchered it and then she shaved it off entirely. After all of this the owner decided to argue with me saying, "When owners of the animals get involved its never good. My mom could have handled it, but you wanted to get involved." If I had not got involved my cat would have been further ABUSED and perhaps choked to death by her inexperienced and incompetent mother. I explained to her that her actions were unprofessional and that her mother was not capable of working in her store and she rolled her eyes and began to raise her voice saying "YOUR CAT IS JUST A NASTY ANIMAL AND THAT IS WHY THERE WAS A PROBLEM!". At that point I told her I am not paying for a butchered hair cut and an abused cat that is bleeding. She charged my credit card anyway even though I did NOT sign the bill and her final words to me were, "I AM TAKING YOU TO COURT!!!". This is the treatment you can expect from this place. I am calling the ASPCA and the BBB to let them know about the abuse and business practices of this establishment. To any animal lover. There are a lot of other places to choose from. I suggest you go elsewhere.
