We ordered three plates to share that were all delicious. The Asian BBQ tacos, smoked Gouda nachos, and the kimchi cheesy rice balls were all delicious. Our service was very good and the fact that it was Martini night was an added bonus.
Quality ingredients with local sourcing are staples at Bee's Knees. The menu has a good variety with unique items and recognizable items. There are many drinks available and the "tapas" style meal allows me to try different tastes in one meal. It's something to definitely try for something not chained.
We had a less than stellar dining experience yesterday. It started when my daughter asked for a highchair for my grandson and the hostess rolled her eyes at her. The wait staff were friendly but service was extremely Slow for brunch as the restaurant wasn't crowded.
I ordered shrimp and grits. $15. The grits were almost cold and I got a total of 6 baby shrimp. .total. No one really seemed to like what they ordered.
Our waiter did get the manager to come talk to me about my food but Nothing was done about it.
A lot of people were coming to this place. It's an organic, vegan, type of restaurant which claims to try to get fresh food from local farmers.
All I can say is that Augusta has so many places to choose from to eat and this one is definitely off of my list.
I just found the joy of reviewing places! I love Bees Knees. I come here very often and they never dissapoint! Friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food!
Very pricey, smaller portions. There is a lot of choices and the service was decent. Food tasted ok, some random things on the menu like tofu hash and shrimp and grits. I got the shrimp and grits and it was good. The biscuits were nice and fluffy.
Parking was easy to find on a Sunday.
First time in Augusta and I choose to eat here with a friend. I am so glad I did. We sat outside and could hear live music coming from down the street. Excellent vibe with cool stores all around.
This restaurant had an interesting variety of items on the menu, most with a twist of some sort. Like sweet potato hummus. The food is good if you like to try new things and experiment, but not all of the combinations will appeal. Works best with several people and shared plates so you can experiment. Service and atmosphere are good.
I was taken here for my bachelorette party for dinner. I was so impressed with the place, the food was amazing and the ambiance was awesome. A couple of months later my husband and I went back for a nice date night.
Came in today for brunch (I usually just come for dinner). This was my first time having VERY poor service. My son and I sat down and it was ten minutes before someone (David) came over with water. He was very friendly and told us that our waiter would be by to take care of us soon. Well.. Our waiter passed us three times and still didn't take our order. Another young lady came and took our drink and good order (I assumed she was our waitress) Boy was I wrong, our waitress finally made contact telling me that she would be right back to take our order. I'm not sure what's going on today (it's not even that busy) but again, the WORST experience every. The manager was great and comped my meal that she told me was vegetarian but was not. Will I return.I don't knowGeesh happy Sunday.
Great atmosphere, pretty good food. I really enjoyed their take on gouda nachos. Had a really good time. The only reason why I give it 4 out of 5, is because they have these really great buffalo style wings, but it's made with tempeif they just offered the buffalo style with chicken, I'd be all over it multiple times a week. The buffalo is that amazing, but the tempe is just, well, not what that beautiful buffalo coating deserves
One of the better places in Augusta downtown. The food is small (tapas) so you'll have to order a lot if you are looking for an American "fill". I frequented this place several times while living in Augusta and look forward to returning in the future if I am ever in the area.
Beer selection was on varied but the amount of taps were niche. Bartenders including Matt was cool and knowledge. Came on a Sunday and hung around for some cool music.
