We could go on and on about how amazing Annie and her team were during our buy/sell experience, but it is best summed up by one story.
Thanks to their hard work and guidance, we were fortunate to have multiple offers on our house. Unfortunately, however, our top offer decided to walk away from the deal on Easter Sunday. Rather than disturb and presumably upset us, Annie instead focused her efforts on securing the second offer. Not surprisingly, she took care of business and allowed us to enjoy our holiday, calling us on Monday morning to inform. It was an impressive combination of professionalism, class, and flat out killer instinct.
Annie is a fierce leader that perfectly balances a hands-on approach and task delegation. It was truly a team effort that afforded us the opportunity to work with multiple talented agents and support staff. Extra special shoutouts to Dustin, Robyn and Amanda for their ongoing attention and care.
We could not be happier with our experience. We highly recommend Annie and The Balcerzak Group for all buyers and sellers! See everyone at the holiday party!

Cara was amazing…

Annie was excellent for someone moving cross country with only some understanding of the Baltimore real estate market! I was moving from the West Coast to Baltimore and appreciated Annie's straightforward approach to my needs. She was always willing to hop on a call or set up a home visit, and provided excellent recommendations for home inspection and title companies. 10/10 would recommend to anyone buying in the Baltimore area! She made the process as easy and painless as possible.

I was referred to Annie by a close friend in MD and I could not be more thankful. My 73 y/o Mom was (finally!) retiring, and I was helping her manage the sale of her home so she could focus on packing for a cross country move. My living remote could have posed some challenges, but Annie and team are absolute PROS.
Beyond being incredibly personable, friendly and emotionally aware, Annie knows real estate. Her professionalism, market knowledge and guidance navigating EVERY element of the sale were invaluable. She's an excellent communicator - honest and direct with feedback & always looking out for her client's best interests.
We had a few unexpected turns during our selling experience (first buyers backing out TWO days before closing) but Annie always maintained her cool and kept us at ease. Her positive outlook and consistent assurance went a long way. She earned our trust at every turn, and we couldn't speak more highly of her and The Balcerzak Group. On that note, special thanks to Dustin, who was always willing to go above and beyond to help in any way needed.

I worked with Caroline Paper in 2021 to purchase my house and had a smooth and great experience. I chose to work with her again when it came time to sell my house due to the trust I had in her. A week into me signing to sell, Caroline switched realtor companies and I stayed with her due to our relationship from me buying a house. This is where things went south. I told Caroline numerous times when I was selling my house that I couldn’t agree to a deal where I had to bring a lot to settlement due to my financial situation. Flash forward to being under contract with a buyer, I was promised numerous times settlement wouldn’t be over my limit, I was given the run around when I asked direct questions about the deal, and I was constantly told it would be one way and things turned out to be complete opposite. 6 days prior to settlement, the closing costs doubled when they were already over my limit I told Caroline I had. When I voiced my frustration I was met with threats from the owner of The Balcerzak Group stating if I wasn’t able to come up with the closing costs, I’d be taken to court. There was no ownership of the things promised to me and I was completely taken advantage of. The keys to my house and shed were lost by someone who was given access, I quickly changed plans of moving out of my house instead of staging it before moving out because I was told pictures of my house would be virtually staged and weren’t, I was convinced twice to drop the selling price of the house and when Caroline realized I was over my limit with settlement she stated she didn’t have the paperwork from when she suggested to lower the price to show where her numbers were at. There was no transparency in anything and I highly suggest going with a different realtor company and realtor all together.
