Texas hot though old and rustic is beautiful and great. It's a family run business and serves great food, their most known for their Texas hot dogs but also have great burgers and fries and amazing milk shakes. Definitely a must visit restaurant if in the ny area.

This place is a classic if you're in the area. My family and I always make sure to eat here when we're visiting. Their shakes are great as well as their food. Certainly not the healthiest but you can make do.

Pros: Very delicious food! The Texas hot dogs are famous all over the country. People come just for these. I love going and getting a couple, some fries with gravy, and a soda. Gives you the old malt shop feeling, especially if you use the mini jukebox that's at each booth! It's one of my favorite things to do ever since I was a kid. The staff are all really great and food comes out fast. For a sit down restaurant, you can get in and out quicker than most other places.

Cons: not celiac or gluten friendly. I often go only with my mom because of this. Fiancee has a wheat allergy, so we can't eat here together. The other con is they don't take credit or debit, only cash. So if you don't have any, it's not exactly an option to eat at. It can also get busy during main meal times, so sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get a spot to sit.

Service is very friendly and thorough. The food is well priced and everything tastes great. If it's not too busy you can get a meal in just a few minutes since they're so quick. Would always recommend it to travelers as it's a well-known local diner who makes the best Texas hot dogs around.

This place is a must stop, just because it is like stepping into a time machine. I tried the Texas Hots. They are just hot dogs with a special Texas Sauce on them. I probably like Sheetz hot dogs better, but I also didn't get the onions and mustard which might be the key to brining out the flavor of the sauce. Anyhow, the people are so friendly it is like I landed back in Mayberry with Andy.

Love. Love. LOVE this place. An awesome 50s-60s style touch to a town that is becoming more modernized. Texas hots with gravy fries are never disappointing. I make the trip a few times a year to eat their food.

I can't tell you how many times I've dreamt of this food. The menu has barely changed since I can first remember Texas Hot from my childhood. The food makes you feel like this is your home and you should never leave (except the fries are the greasiest thing I've even encountered). The ambiance is classical, with beautiful ceiling tiles and old fashioned jute boxes in every booth. The staff somehow know who you are, even if your a stranger, and they seem to have always been your friend.

When you think of Wellsville you think of Texas Hot. I've met people from all over the world and if any of them have been to Western New York they know the Texas Hot.
