We are season ticket holders and dined here for every game in our package for years. Our meals ranged from $75.00 + for the two of us, which we happily paid for the great service, atmosphere and decent food. We have a group of friends that we joined for dining for the 2017 season. Our normal table was at least 7 people.
However, since the new "manager' came in, things have taken a horrible turn for the worse. The once amazing servers had fallen to the 'new ways' of the kitchen by the hands of the new manager. Food was taking an hour or more to come out of the kitchen, and some times not at all. Food was cold and not what it used to be. Quickly, all meals/service were getting worse and worse. There was no interaction with the new manager and he was never around to express some of our concerns. He never greeted us at a table, asked how our meal was etc. I once waited to talk to him while he leaned against the wall flirting with 2 ladies (employees) by the entrance. I waited for several minutes and tried to get his attention as he would peer over to me, standing there waving my hand. Never did he acknowledge me.
Still, we kept making our reservations and continued to come support the servers and staff members who have been so kind to us over the years.
Unfortunately, Post season proved to be the complete downfall. Last night, was our last. It started when they couldn't seat us when we arrived (as the doors opened). We all stood in the way 1/2 way down the stairs as the manager fiddled with what had gone wrong and why we didn't have a table. Note that we called earlier in the day to confirm since we did not receive our normal confirmation email, or call. When we spoke to the manager we were told that he wasn't able to check at this time but that he would. We took it upon ourselves to call back later and confirm with one of the waitstaff. And then It took over an hour and a half to get our food, (we were seated for pre game with people waiting for their seats while we hadn't even received our food). Of course, no manager to be found. I went to the hostess station where they had to call him because no one knew where he was. When he finally arrived to speak to me, he was less than interested in the fact that our whole table (10 people) had not received our dinners, let alone that most people in the restaurant had not received theirs either. We did get our food (most of it - not all of us) shortly after. Never did the manager come out to check up, apologize or ask how things were. We once again had to go looking for him to seek out the rest of our tables meals. We had to rush to eat our food, as we wanted to get to our seats and we knew people were waiting. Our server, whom we love and has been wonderful for years, was in tears as she told us that the manager had taken care of our meal for the night. We tried to console her as we knew it wasn't her fault as it had not been any of the servers faults throughout the downfall of the Terrace Club. We did not want our meals to be 'taken care of', we wanted service and the management to be present to professionally handle the mess that was created.
We will miss most of the staff at the Terrace Club, the atmosphere and the great times we had - PRE new management. So many people we have talked to have the same feelings. I know our 'group' will not return next season. Perhaps, we will return if management is changed for the better.
Sorry for the long rant I do not normally give public reviews. Possibly I should have made it short and sweet The Terrace Club used to be great now many of the loyal patrons will not return.

Great food in the club seating area. You do need special tickets to access this area of progressive field during games.

Great location but used to be only accessable for corporate events. Glad they opened it to a wider audience.

Never have I thoroughly been so disappointed with a dining experience! At 5:10 PM we walked in and there were 5 employees at the hostess stand. None of them properly greeted us. Finally one just asked name? We had a reservation and requested a window seat if available. The restaurant was about 10% full. The hostess seated us at a non window table. We asked if we could get moved to a window seat. They did move us.after about 10 minutes of debating at the hostess stand. I tipped the hostess for doing so. Never has a $10 been less needed or appreciated as the restaurant never was more than 25% full.

We sat about 15 minutes before we were spoken to by a server. We were told right away that we must be done dining and out by 6:30 PM. As we had been sitting now 15 minutes we decided to have our 2 kids eat from the buffet and we would order from the menu. The reason we had the kids eat from the buffet is they were hungry and we did not want them to wait any longer to eat.but, this buffet was $32 per person!!! A worse value in the food industry does not exist!! A buffet of hot dogs, nachos, cheese cubes, grits, game hens, and grade B prime rib. NO DESERTS!!! For $32 no desert and this mess of grade B food. What was also alarming was there was almost no one dining at the buffet. The $32 price tag is why myself and my wife ordered from the menu. What that means is the food at the buffet is not being turned over and just sitting. In addition, our soft drinks were served to us in tall Dixie style cups with straws.

We ordered from the server at 5:40 PM. Our appetizers came at 6:00 PM. Knowing we must be out by 6:30 PM I asked the server on the status of our main course. She explained the kitchen was slammedbut, it would not be too much longer. How could the kitchen be slammed with the restaurant now about 25% full? Answer: No one was eating from the $32 buffet! Truthfully, at $10 it is not a value. At 6:20 PM I tried to cancel the remainder of our meal and just get out of there. Our server was no where in site. At 6:25 PM the main course (a salad and burger) arrived. We were going to try to press through it and eat quicklyBUT, the burger was ordered plain.was loaded and incorrect. It was at that point we sent the food back and asked for our check. The server came by and I explained the order was not correct (which she confirmed) and now if was almost 6:30 PM and we had to leave. She said we could stay until 7:00 PM.so if we wanted the food corrected and brought back we could do that. We had enough. In fairness, the server was not the issue. She did credit one of the $32 buffets and was sincerely trying.

Since 1993 we have annually went to a Tribe game in August and dined at the Terrace Club. This is a far cry from the days of white table linens, fine cuisine at the buffet, and servers in black pants and white shirts of yester years. Obviously this restaurant is struggling as it is now public. These struggles are clearly on the shoulders of the management. The only thing this restaurant offers now is a view. And that view is not special enough to ever think about coming back again. What a disappointment!

My family and I had dinner at the Terrace Club during the Texas Rangers game on August 2, 2014. We had a wonderful experience! Mary Jo the manager came over to our table and was so kind. She knew this was our first time visiting and was so kind to offer us a complimentary cracker jack sundae which was delicious! Mary Jo suggested other local attractions to visit during our stay. During our dinner, I noticed how personable she was with all the other guests in the Terrace Club which makes the experience even better! Becky our waitress was excellent as well! Very helpful with her menu suggestions and was very attentive to our table. We told her our son had peanut allergies and she brought him a special ice cream since he could not have the yummy cracker jack sundae! Very kind of her! All the food was great and we will definitely make sure to go there every time we go to a Cleveland game. BTW the fried pickles were to die for. Good job Mary Jo and Becky! You made the start of our family vacation awesome!! Thank you - The Renners
