A nice little easy to access park for a picnic, boat launching, or various other lake-related recreation. Some of the speed breakers on the road to the park are unmarked and severe, so adhere to the posted limit.

The Battle of Ten Islands occurred near this spot. It would be neat to see a re-enactment of the battle, but I suspect it would be costly to assemble that many blue and gray wetsuits and brass rebreathers.

Water hot in summer time. Nasty water at times. Good place to fish and cook out though

A little of everything, covered picnic tables with grills, nice restrooms, fishing piers, boat ramp, & a little sand swim beach. Attendant most of the year, open every day, and FREE!

I love going there to watch the sunset, fish, or play in the sand.

Great to grill out, swim, or put the boat in the water. Always nice folks, clean facilities, and plenty of fish. If it's a hot day sometimes there is an ice cream boat that you can get some goodies from too!
