  It's one of those cases where the government came in and made many improvements (landscaping, much improved parking, stopped tire burning "campfires", broken glass cleanup, picnic tables with grills, etc.). Detractors: The showers were removed. No overnight camping onsite. Big improvements. Very nice!

  So very beautiful all year round! There's lots of places to swim or hike. Kid friendly. Another one of my absolute favorite places.
