A reasonable airport for a sparsely populated state. It is a good size and it is not super busy. Easy to get into with transportation and easy to get out. Certainly not a large as some airports in the lower 48, but still well organized. Definitely the best place to fly into Alaska and would recommend Alaska Airlines.
1. The airport is very clean.
2. Open gate system allows many seating area.
3. Bars and restaurant, including fast food like Mc. Donald’s are available.
4. Rest rooms are available in every concourse.
5. Art displays trully represent Alaska.
6. If you are an airplane lover, the big windows offer you great and close view to the airplanes on the tarmac.
A pretty big international airport that has some of the alaskan culture and a taste of what you will find during your trip or stay in here. Signs and advertisements od either buses, train or flights are really well advised.
It's a good airport. Easy to navigate. Lots of food choices. Prices are reasonable for being in an airport. Lots of "Alaska" stuff to look at. Car rental pick up is easy.
Very nice airport in Anchorage, AK. Tons of delicious but very expensive food. The process to board our planes was well organized and efficient. Will definitely return!
