TERRIBLE SERVICE. SAVE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AND THE ARGUMENT, GO TO HOME DEPOT, LOWE'S, ANYWHERE ELSE.

The equipment was fine, but they are crass and unprofessional. When we asked specifically what time a rental should be brought back, we were told 8pm the next day. When the equipment didn't come back in the morning they harassed us for the equipment. I reminded them that we were told that we had till 8pm and they refused to believe someone would say that. The phone rep got belligerent with me and insisted we were wrong, then charged us for their mistake. I've never been treated so poorly by a small business. I work in the industrial safety and supply business, and what someone tells you in person better be right or it's on you.

I took my Stihl chainsaw to them because the chain wasn't getting the lubrication that it should have been getting. They replaced a $0.10 part and charged me $63.00. The chainsaw isn't lubing the chain still and now I've got a chainsaw that isn't lubing and now needs a new chain and guide bar. It's not feasible to have repairs done again by someone else and buy a new chain and bar. I have to buy a new saw!
Apparently, all they do is replace parts without any real mechanical expertise. I've lost faith in Stihl, because they list Taylor as a certified repair facility.
Don't take anything to be repaired to them.

The staff at Tru Value Rental are ruse and unprofessional. There was 1 guy specifically that was the worst. He was very antagonistic. Like he wanted to argue. I just wanted to rent a moving truck. I had to go twice, once to get the truck and once to exchange the tow dolly for a trailer to tow my car. The tow dolly had some broken straps on it and we never noticed it until I went to load the car the day of our departure. I went back to explain our situation. I wasnt looking for problems just a resolution. And the attitude I got in return was unacceptable. Because of my experience at this True Value I wont use services from any ever again.

I have no idea what the negative reviews are about, Taylor's is a fantastic company. I've had great experience with rentals and yesterday, I had an RV propane tank purged and filled. Their prices are great, they gave personal, professional service and I'll always return. Thanks

Started my review at 1 star based on initial phone call inquiring on equipment rental and wasn't pleased with communication on other end. Manager called me back and apologized then gathered the information needed for his records. Huge props to him for the follow up.
