The atmosphere is very nice. If you are seated outside, they have very effective heaters. The food is delicious. The drinks are drinks. The service is great, they kept themselves on top of it. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.

My fiance and I stopped in Taverna for lunch today, and we were expecting a much better experience. The service was fine, but the food was disappointing. The chicken was very dry, and the burger (which was ordered Medium) was also a bit on the dry, bland side. Perhaps it's just what we ordered. If we do return, it would only be for dinner. The lunch menu was super disappointing, not a lot of exciting options at all. For what we paid, we should have left very pleased with the food. Based on this experience, I would not recommend. However, we are willing to give them another shot!

I am from Italy and I have missed the taste of a well made pizza one day I stopped by Taverna for lunch and I was blown away by how authentic it was. I highly recommend you to try it for yourself! Not saying there is not good Italian food in Jax but this place is by far the best.

First trip, had the smoked short ribs, excellent. The server was very knowledgeable, answered questions, explained options. My friends had the salmon and golden tile fish, all plates went back empty!! The coffee was very good, absolutely no complaints!! Will go back.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner. Service was on point and the cocktails were great. We decided to share a few small plates before the meal with dessert. Good times.

They have the best brunch! Get the lemon pancakes (the best) and an omelet or breakfast pizza. They serve Bold Bean coffee which is amazing so re experience is simply wonderful.

Just enjoyed a nice lunch of steak, bearnaise sauce, that comes with a side of truffle fries. Steak was very tender and delicious. Great chef there. The truffle fries were very good but I'd like them a little less salty. The waiter service was perfect.

I had an incredible experience at Taverna last evening! My family loves it and we go there regularly. We had an especially great experience last night with our server, Kayla. She was kind, attentive, and friendly! I highly recommend Taverna for their excellent staff, food, and drinks.

Wow! This place brings it! I love the food and it has a really fun vibe. I got the house special – pork chops with arugula and asparagus. I got it cooked medium rare and it did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. My husband got the mussels and they also were amazing. Definitely recommend but make sure to get reservations.

Great ambiance with delicious fresh dishes. The scallops and risotto was beautifully prepared and had intense flavours. Even the salad was wonderful. Very satisfying.

Never in my life would I have thought "Yes, I'm completely okay with spending +$15 on a margherita pizza that feeds one." but then I got one at Taverna and it changed my life honestly. Same goes for the truffle fries, which are definitely worth $9.

Food and service consistently top notch. Inside restaurant can be a bit noisy during the busier times, but there's definitely a good buzz going on. You won't be disappointed with any item(s) on menu!
