Security was courteous and nice, but the place was too loud for an early evening out (for my liking)

This place is visited by locals as well as vacationers for the sports bar atmosphere. Amazingly the food as well as the drinks as great, especially the Brussel sprouts with bacon and the coconut mojito ‘s!

Good bar. Not the cheapest happy hour but its worth it because it's a late one. Typical pb bar. Dance area and TVs.

Best Happy Hour in PB, possibly San Diego. Great staff and fun crowd.

Biggest dbag ever, thank you doorman on Sunday, 8/27, for declining 6 industry people for not being able to come in because we were laughing. You're great! I hope the owners review this, because I'm still baffled.

Staff was super attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere, good happy hour prices. At night turns into a club with good music.

Good beer selection and happy hour prices. Fish & pork tacos pretty good. Pretzel sticks and garlic fries also good. Classis solid bar food but nothing to call home about.

Not bad, not super. Tater tots were way too salty.
Hamburgers come with 2 thin little patties.
They don't carry Bacardi rum but some odd name off brand.
    Music was good.

Great music, lots of room and seating. The only thing I didn't like is that you cannot take drinks on the patio and towards the end of the night the blonde bar tender was rude. Other than that great atmosphere.

Brought 12 of my friends here for a friends birthday about two or more weeks ago and the next following night I saw that the chick who was doing the cover charges that night charged me 20 dollars extra and she didn't have me sign for anything. Called the bar and talked to the manager (Christa) and she told me they would call me to fix it and give me my money back. Still haven't received a call or email nor my money back so screw you guys!

We went during happy hour and I love that all drinks are half price but wish they had more food options

Totally fine spot for a bite and a drink, near the Coronado hotel and beach.

Food is plated well, and the menu is interesting, and has unique offerings. Food and drink are on the spendier end, but that's to be expected for this area. The Tavern is in a touristy area of Coronado.

PROPS: Great spot to get a craft beer near the beach.
SLOPS: While this place is unique and worth coming to while on Coronado, it doesn't stand out when compared to other San Diego bars.
