Food was good but a little overpriced. I would definitely come during their Happy Hour when prices are 50% off. Otherwise solid local place to have sushi.

I've been here many times over the last several years. The food is good and reasonably priced; there are regular mailers and discounts available. While the wait staff are friendly, there always seems to be too few of them, resulting in very poor overall service - time and time again. Previously, I've had to request multiple times to order drinks, food, and the check. This is of course a concern if you have movie plans. Easily a three or four star place if the service issues can ever be turned around.

The proximity to the theatre and value/price is the big plus to Tomoyama. If you are looking for knock your socks off sushi I recommend looking elsewhere.

That said, the awesome roll, volcano roll, BSCR are all quite good and I recommend them! I'm also a big fan of their garlic edamame, which is spicy and delicious.
