Wife says it's "Amaze balls " I say it's great. Idk what they do differently with their Taco shells (crispy ) but it's amazing.
Authentic Mexican food, fast friendly service all in all one of the better restaurants to be found in Dayton. The grilled shrimp have always been cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I also recommend the cheese dip, it's always tasty and the corn chips are prepared fresh on premises. I don't care for the beef that is served here, but it is authentic. Chicken and pork are both ok, but I rarely order anything except the shrimp.
I've been here 3 times, never disappointed. Staff is friendly and the tacos are amazing! My new favorite place to get mexican food.
As someone who comes from southern California I can say this is definitely legit Mexican food. Reminds me of so many good places I would visit back home in Los Angeles. If you want authentic Mexican food go here!
I'm torn on this review. I enjoy the food and have been there multiple times. But the service is not all that great I watch two people get served in front of me said something and they still didn't come to my table so I had to leave. The waitress I spoke to was upset that I asked that she would come back to my table. Overall experience staff is not very friendly but I know the food is yummy. Bummer
Legit Mexican tacos and fajitas! Friendly service and fair prices. The guacamole was awesome!
My Family & me found this place pretty close to the originals in México 😊 very good taste and prices. The chips aren't always fresh though. It would be awesome if they make their own tortillas ðŸ’
My experience here was mixed. The food was really good but the customer service was beyond terrible. Our waitress maybe spoke to us once and never checked on us. The eating area is very small so she had no excuse for ignoring us. We felt deliberately ignored so we decided to leave. I assumed she suspected us of attempting to dine and dash so she finally tried to help us. From now on I'll order my good to go.
The tacos here are amazing. I got beef stew, fish and goat tacos. All were very good. I was pleasantly surprised that the fish was grilled, not fried. The server was on point. He was constantly there when we needed water refilled. He brought us a new basket of chips just about when we had a few chips left. The only down side is the rest room is outside of the restaurant and you'll have to ask for a key to unlock. Parking is a little bit cramped, especially as you back out
This place is about as authentic as it gets! I've had numerous dishes, each one more delicious as the last. My absolute favorite is the chicken mole enchiladas. They have great quality chicken and the mole sauce is legit! I tried the pork tamales for the first tome and hands down their the best I've ever had. Prices are reasonable and service is fast and friendly. If you enjoy real Mexican cusine you have to check this place out!
The best authentic mexican food! This place is often crowded, and does not have much seating. If you are sensitive to the outside temperature, do not sit near the doors, as they will be opened and closed a lot! The bathrooms are located outside the main premises, which adds to the coming and going of customers. The menu is extensive, and everything I have tried there has been excellent. They are not always the fastest, however, so don't if you are in a hurry.!
Great food. Great service. The food is very authentic and inexpensive. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the bathrooms are only accessible from outside. It used to be a gas station!
Never knew this place existed but I'm glad I came. Cozy booths and friendly staff make you feel at home. Food portions are great and food is prepped really fast. I got the monster burrito expecting a burrito the size of Chipotles' burritos but boy was I wrong. This truly is a MONSTER burrito and for the price ($15) I couldn't believe it! My friends who are big muscular guys got the fajitas and were pretty satisfied.
Oh almost forgot to mention this BYOB! We didn't bring anything but the gas station next door has some beers so we walked over and got a six pack for the meal!
Overall best Mexican restaurant in Dayton and great food!
This is Dayton's best place for authentic Mexican food (as opposed to Tex Mex at many other places). The lunchtime staff is friendly, service is fast, and the food tastes great. Dinnertime service is generally not as attentive, which is disappointing (and the reason for four stars). The food tends to be spicier than other local restaurants, but it is just the right amount. Be aware that the location and surroundings may appear sketchy, but the food is well worth it!
