Housekeeping staff forgot to check the room that was in perfect condition, when I checked in in the room I found a long hair in the shower. I’m giving 2 stars because the first impression counts, Even if you pay for a cheap hotel the cleaning is supposed to be perfect. Very friendly staff.

Awful experience! 1 towel in room. No wash clothes hand towels or floor mat! No blankets, no tissues, dirty room all
around! No hot water for shower!! After making reservation for our shuttle pickup/drop off they refused to do our drop off! Even after making sure with them for a 5 am shuttle! !! And also our alarm was messed with both days even after fixing the time on the clock and our alarms , I believe the maid somehow or for some reason changed the clocks all around!! Very terrible experience for our first trip to Florida!! And very deceiving name of hotel!!! I did talk to staff about each one of these and they made no attempt to make anything better!!

The price is low, that’s for sure. But it’s really not worth it. The shuttle does not run very often so good luck getting an airport pick-up/drop. There is a mystery fee for the cruise shuttle. The rooms smell like the carpet was imported from a 1950s Vegas casino floor. And the staff is insufferable.

Go more towards downtown Tampa and let this place sink into the abyss from which it came.

Checking in wasn't a problem. But, Absolutely Disgusting rooms. As my mother was writing down an order for food, she noticed a bug crawling up the side of the bed and squished it, it was a Bedbug. Immediately call the front desk, they move us to a new room. New room has trash, sheets with stains on them. Then requested laundry soap to wash our clothes just in case. NONE. Seriously!? Then I noticed not many employees are wearing nametags, which I thought all employees are supposed to. Guy downstairs with a tattoo of lips on his neck & black hair, didn't really seem to care about anything except whoever was messaging his personal cell phone. HIGHLY Recommend people find somewhere else to stay.

Now, as we wait for a shuttle, my little sister tells my mother & I a couple downstairs got a refund for finding bugs all over their room as well.

I was actually scared to go to this hotel after seeing all of the negative reviews BUT I decided to take my chances. First off, the front desk staff was very nice, I had a king room which looked upgraded, everything was neat & clean! Also, the room didn’t stink, bathroom was new & my shower had good pressure and was HOT! Plus they offered complimentary breakfast in the morning. I’ve been to many hotels in my lifetime & believe me when I tell you this is FAR from a 1 star rating (that I read on multiple websites).

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. When I checked in my rooms were not ready. Then when I finally got to my room it was infested with ants, the carpet was filthy the walls were dirty and the faucet handle in the shower was completely broken it actually came off in my hand when I tried to turn the shower on. I rented two rooms and they both were disgusting. When I complained to the front desk I was told that I would have to talk to a manager the next day because the hotel was booked and they did not have any rooms available to move me to. So my family including my children had to sleep in filth. The next morning I spoke with Rosemary Ramos and she "claimed" she spoke with the manager Miosotis Perez and that she authorized her to give me a $20 credit what a joke when I spent $200 on rooms. Anyways I never received my credit so I called a few days later and spoke with Mrs. Ramos and she assured me that I would receive my credit within 72 hours it has now been almost two weeks and still no credit. I called yesterday demanding to speak with Mrs. Perez after I had emailed her and never received a response and the guy that answered the phone promised me that he would make sure she called me back. Still no call. The staff are incompetent liars and the hotel is disgusting would not even recommend to a homeless person because it's worse than sleeping outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! The elevator was out of service. There was a roach in the bed. The sheets had stains on them. The furniture had stains on them. The curtains had holes in them. I had to keep calling front desk to get a iron and ironing board that should have been in the room. There were no light bulbs in some of the lamps. The pillows had hair on them. The pool was dirty. The service was not pleasing!

Ms. Santiago was very understanding of my situation. No power no water due to Irma and I was not gonna leave my fur babies anywhere but with us. She made us feel welcomed

For the most part I was happy with my stay at Tampa Stadium Hotel. Check-in was easy, but they made me sign a waver that I was responsible for anything that was damaged or stolen. I don't remember that being standard at other hotels but maybe it is. As a single traveler the room was much larger than I expected and in mostly good condition (better than I expected based on the price). There was a significant rip in the curtain which didn't bother me as long as I wasn't held responsible for it. Other reviews have mentioned a bug infestation. I wouldn't say it was infested with bugs... but there was a small roach crawling up the wall when I first arrived. That night a saw a single ant in the bathroom. The bugs didn't start to bother me until the next morning when I found 2 more roaches, one in my luggage. Fortunately, there were no bed bugs.

    BEWARE!! DISHONEST STAFF!!

From the moment I walked into the hotel, I knew this wasn't going to be a great stay. The hotel staff were very disorganized starting from check-in and throughout our stay. They will not bring clean towels to your room, you have to go to the front desk and ask for them. The rooms were run down and hallways have the smell of a seafood market. I consider the poor service and condition as part of the cheap price so I did not make a big deal out of it.

HOWEVER, I DID NOT EXPECT THE HOTEL STAFF TO HAVE CHARACTERS AS CHEAP AS THE PRICE!

After checking out and arriving back home, I realized I forgot my sandals in the room. I called the hotel and they said they did indeed find the sandals from my room (#335). They instructed me to send a UPS box with a return label to the hotel and they would ship it back to me. Sounds great...until I called today to check if they sent the sandals back and they tell me they never found the sandals. They specifically told me they had found them from my specific room number (#335) when I called the day of checking out (5/29)...so you can all imagine what happened in a week's time. In addition to losing my favorite pair of sandals that were $80, I had to pay $20 for shipping and return labels.

I agree it was my fault for leaving my sandals and not checking thoroughly before leaving but the DISHONESTY OF THE STAFF CANNOT BE IGNORED.

Me, my two children and girlfriend all stayed at Tampa Stadium Airport Hotel, formerly Holiday Inn and Stadium Hotel. Shortly after we laid down for rest. Bed bugs started to bite us everywhere. We took pictures and videos of the bugs and showed the staff on duty. They immediately reimbursed us for the hotel, and offered us another room. After medical cost, they refused to pay any of our bills, and never called us to assist in any way. This hotel has changed there company name twice in 5 years. The owner of the hotel is AMER ASMAR at 4732 N. Dale Mabry HWY. Tampa, Florida 33614. He is the owner of many hotels, all over Florida and has had many law suits. DO NOT do business with this company.

Plenty of parking. Single entrance. Check in was friendly and fast. Spacious room. Slightly dated but clean and quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was basic. Good value compared to competition.

Clean, but older hotel. It used to be an Holiday Inn express. Needs some updating, but the staff was exceptionally helpful. I'm sensitive to detergents and air fresheners. Told the front desk once, and they always made sure my sheets were double washed without soap. Stayed here for 3-weeks for a work trip. I was quite satisfied

Great location, and lobby and rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately, one of the desk lamps in the room was completely inoperable (room 214), and another desk lamp would only work if plugged in and unplugged. No soap or other toiletries in the bathroom. The heat blocking curtain was torn in multiple places, and a large stain on the carpet. A little more attention to detail is needed, otherwise a great place to stay.
