Very nice museum with an interesting section dedicated to local artists. Given the limited extension of the collection, maybe a lower price would be appropriate

Really great, but small, museum. Don't expect a huge space with a million shows, but the shows they have are good and the building in beautiful. I just moved to Tampa, and although this museum is not at the same level overall as what I am used to in NYC, the quality is much better than museums I have been to in other smaller/mid-sized cities.

Very nice museum. It's small but they always keep it interesting by adding new exhibitions. I really like that they partner with Bank of America to let people in for free once a month. The location is perfect right by the water in downtown next to all the nive tourist places in Tampa bay city.

It was a lovely place, however, it would've been nice to know that more than half of the exhibits were closed off before paying my $15 entry fee.

Really nice place. Definitely a good place to step inside if you need to catch some cool air for a bit. I got lucky and didn't have to pay when I went. It's beautiful and they are working on making more sections to the museum. The paintings are amazing here and I like how they have featured artists every now and then.

Beautiful space with great art. Has nice seating dining area and gift shop. It is a great setting for events and gatherings. Great view of University of Tampa, the river and Downtown.

The photo realism exhibit was a delight to see. The artist work displayed was impressive and beautiful. The price was a little more than anticipated but not overly expensive. They do offer discounts. Inquire at to the ticket office.

Nice building with small handful collections. Staff are very friendly. The ticket price is a bit high for the number of collections they had.

I really want to give them 5 stars, but they seem to not maintain a full collection. Half of the museum was closed. Food was awesome, location is central to downtown, great views!

For such a big city this is not worth calling an art history museum. Lithography prints and photos adorned a space more akin to a warehouse, then a museum. We were taken aback that there were only 1-2 paintings in this museum. Alot of what we saw today, we could've seen for cheap or free at our local art museum instead of paying 10-15$ a person. While true they did have other exhibits, this museum left much to be desired.

Very modern building with intimate art collections ranging from ancient pottery to local photography. There is a large space for guest exhibits and an outdoor area that gives a lovely view of the river as well as the Henry B. Plant museum across the river. Nearby is the Curtis Jaxon Waterfront Park which features modern landscapes and a children's park.
Overall, a very lovely place to spend an afternoon or early evening.response / report this review -

Although this museum is small, the art is beautiful. Very peaceful & a great pass time for the weekend. Priced well & easy to find.
