DO NOT MOVE IN HERE
terrible management. They'll quote you one price, then hide a higher number in the contract. Then they demand you "catch up on what you owe". They put a 3 day notice on my door for THEIR "mistake"
Then they'll tow your car for not having the pass on your rear view mirror. I got a notice previously for it being displayed on the dash board. I forgot to put it up over the weekend, so they towed it, despite having it logged as a resident vehicle.
I've been calling the management company for over a month, and no one will return phone calls, despite being told I'd get a call back within 24 hours.
The office staff are unprofessional, and rude throughout all encounters.
Oh, and I almost forgot the bugs! Giant cockroaches, and a non stop plague of ants.response / report this review -

When we moved in it was great and we dealt with quality management. Over the past year and a half it has degraded as well as the quality of the people moving in. It's turning into a party zone with loud people, motorcycles and music. And don't bother to park your car here, even if you're a resident if you forget to put your pass in the window they will TOW YOU. It just happened to me. Best advice I can give is walk around here at all times of day and night and talk to the residents yourself to see if the expensive rent is worth it.

My husband and I have lived in Serrano Highlands Apartments for almost a year now and love it. We haven't had to deal (yet) with moving out and everything that entails, so I may be revising this review after that! (hopefully not!) As far as living here goes, we live in the northern section near the leasing office. It is very quiet and clean and the management has been nothing but helpful and kind. Our place was newly renovated when we moved in. We had an incident with our washing machine breaking and leaking downstairs and the management (Felice) was extremely helpful and understanding with the situation. Because of its location, we do seem to get a lot of ants, but they exterminators are here every Friday so any problem we have had has been resolved quickly and at no expense to us! Love living here.

Serrano Highland apartments is not a good place to move in . They have the worst management company that I have experienced ever. They raised your rent by 20% after only one year lease, and when you move-out, they charged you $300 for junk fees, even though you have cleaned the apartment and request an inspection, which they did not bother to verify, but used it as an excuse to charge you for painting and cleaning, an obligation which they will have to renovate anyway for the next tenant.

They will charge you to replace everything after you move out. Seems unfair to me knowing we never even had shoes in the apartment.
