Being a Newtown resident for many years, I am familiar with the funeral home and the owner Charles Swartz. I remember his parents who owned it prior to him. Both of my parents services were held there and most recently my husband’s 5 months ago. Corky ( Charles) and his wife Jane are professional, patient, and compassionate. Everything was explained in a clear manner which is important because believe me I was not thinking straight at times. I knew we were in good hands.

At the most difficult time in my life Swartz Givnish was wonderful. They were caring and helpful in helping me make decisions I didn’t know I would have to make, without being pushy. They thought of things I would have never thought about doing. The service was beautiful and their thought to details went beyond my expectations.
I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them!
They are beyond compare!!!!

The team at Swartz-Givnish were very courteous, patient, and professional during a difficult time for our family. The grounds and funeral home are very nice and well maintained. We are very grateful to the Swartz-Givnish team for a job well done. Would highly recommend!.
