Our family just completed the funeral & life celebration of our sister and we could not have been happier with the services of Keates-Plum, especially, Andrew Hoffman and his team. He made this experience special, because he thought of everything and more. We did not have to worry about anything. Andrew took care of every little detail from the preparation, always responsive to our needs/demands, and we came from Florida and Maryland. He assisted with the organ donation services for our sister. He was fully setup at the church and delivered a beautiful service and their live stream allowed other family members who could not attend, be there. He seamlessly helped arrange the details for the after-funeral service luncheon and had all the pictures and video there waiting for everyone to enjoy. The next day they were at the cemetery (2 hours away) and executed a flawless and spirit filled graveside ceremony. He arranged for a local priest to preside, and he assured nothing was left behind and got us our pictures, videos and other materials.
My brothers and I are eternally grateful for the professional service and compassion they offered to our family.
    Thank you, Andrew.

The act of living life means we also must face the sad moments, the loss of people we love, and the overwhelming grief that comes with it. Those moments of ultimate sadness can also have moments of beauty, the beauty of life remembered, the mark a person makes in their lifetime, and the celebration of that life.
Andrew Hoffman made that celebration of my dear friend's life happen with all the people she loved around her. The elegance, warmth, and understanding made the process of saying goodbye bittersweet but also one to be remembered.

Keates-Plum did a fantastic job with my father's funeral. Every detail was taken care of with thoughtfulness and skill. From picking up my father's body that fateful morning with extreme kindness and professionalism( Mr. Garry and Mr Ott) to all the details with preparing my father's body and all the fine details of the service. Andy Hoffman was superb! We could not have asked for a more thoughtful, kind, caring gentleman to help guide us through a very difficult time period. We cannot thank them enough. Steve Smaldore

I would like to thank Andrew Hoffman, Rick
Pennestri, and Keates-Plum for the compassion, help and care they showed our mother and all of us at the time of her passing. She lived a beautiful life and thanks to Andrew, her life celebration was just as beautiful. He helped us through every step of the process and we are forever grateful to him.

Death is never easy, but it can be bearable when we are blessed with kind and compassionate individuals who help us navigate the stormy seas of loss.

When my mom passed, my father and I chose Keates-Plum Funeral Home in Brigantine because it was close to where my mom lived and easy for my father to get to in the event he had to run there for any reason. I may have chosen it for convenience, but it was so much more. Andy Hoffman was invaluable. He handled everything, from preparing mom to working with Saint Thomas Catholic Church to have a private viewing in front of the altar before the service. He took care of the arrangements at a restaurant for the after-service repast, served as a pallbearer, and saw to my mom’s cremation. Andy was a blessing. He treated my beloved mother with care, and she looked both at peace and dignified for our last goodbyes. My dad and I thank Andy and his staff from the bottom of our hearts.
