John Mach and the rest of the staff were so accommodating when planning my Dad’s funeral. His attention to detail was exceptional. He’s very kind, empathetic and hospitable. Although it was such a difficult process John was there guiding us through it every step of the way. Thanks again to John and the rest of the staff at Geitner-Givnish Funeral Home.

It was very hard to see my mother go but the good people of Geitner Givnish at 5th and Godfrey we're so loving and kind, they made the experience tolerable. I was allowed a live band and light fare. They also let me decorate the night before. They were very accommodating and kind. Special thanks to Mrs. Joanie!!

The service that was provided exceeded our expectations. Chris was always available whenever we had any questions and was very help throughout the whole process from beginning to the end. Our friends and family members were in awe with the beautiful service that was provided. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to say good-bye.

Dear Geithner-Givnish family,
I would like to thank you for making a difficult situation as easy as possible. From the very beginning my first phone call with Joanie, who knew my father and made it feel very personal and knew my father's wishes my memory-Thank you! To Rick Walsh who called as I sat by my father's bedside in hospice and talked to me about my father, offering kind words, just when they were needed, Thank you! To Trish who understood my uncomfortabilityand responded with kindness and understanding- Thank you! To Ken, our wonderful and kind driver with a sense of humor at moments when it was needed and thank you for understanding and engaging my son's Thank you! A Hugh Thank you to Kristyn who managed everything, was available on her days off, was thorough, precise, understanding and followed through on everything to the smallest details.

Only there for a viewing. Very small space but there could've been bigger rooms that I just didn't see. Place was very neat & clean. Staff was very professional.
