  Was with them for many years and then let our new landscaping company talk us into using their irrigation repair within the company. Nightmare. Now that we are back with Superior our lawn looks great. We will not leave again.

  I was blown away with how difficult they are to work with. Both the employees were condescending and rude on the phone. Then they charged and arm and a leg for just an estimate, then marked up the parts outrageously, and did the bare minimum of work.
  
  They give you a large window of time in which they will come by. Then they called me when they were two minutes away from the house and I missed their initial call so the receptionist and driver proceeded to call me five times. When i was able to answer they were very rude.

  I paid for quality and I got it!!!!
  
  There is nothing more important to me than value, and that's what I got from Superior Sprinkler. They weren't the cheapest but I didn't want cheap, I wanted it DONE RIGHT. As a long term homeowner I believe in fixing things the right way to keep my home in good shape year round, and calling Superior Sprinkler was a very smart move.and they're family owned too, and I like to support local family owned businesses. :-)

  I REALLY WANT TO GIVE ZERO STARS!!!!!!
  I have never experienced a more exasperating phone conversation with a sales person!!! I was asking for a quotean initial consultation. Nick the sales person proceeded to tell me that there would be a $49.00 fee for that plus three hours of an additional hourly fee. I was shocked and blown away. How dare you try to charge me to earn my business!!! I am a consumer and I won't pay anyone one red cent until I can compare several companies. They are delusional if they think otherwise!!!! I also would never hire a company whose sales force finds it acceptable to argue with a prospective new customer!!!

  My senior citizen widowed neighbor who lives out of state half the year, asked me to meet a Superior Sprinkler representative to obtain an estimate for a repair to her sprinkler system. I met the representative, who verbally told me the broken part would cost at least $400, and that it would probably take 2-3 hours to install the part. He then said he would prepare an estimate and forward it to me to send to my neighbor. He did not at any time mention a charge for the estimate, and my neighbor also told me unequivocally that there had been no mention of any charge for an estimate.
  
  In the meantime, I looked up the part online and found that it cost less than $50. I then called my own sprinkler guy who said he would install it for $160 (that's the total price including the part). He installed the part at that price, and notably the installation took about 20 minutes.
  
  The Superior Sprinklers written estimate that I received quoted a price of $425 for the performance of the same work my guy had just performed for $160. To add insult to injury, on the same estimate/invoice Superior Sprinklers also attempted to impose a service charge of $84. That's apparently for coming by, looking at the sprinkler, and giving an insanely inflated estimate -- although neither my neighbor nor I was told that there would be any charge whatsoever.
  
  The service charge was ultimately removed after several not very friendly telephone calls and e-mails between myself and Superior. In her correspondence confirming removal of the charge Superior's CFO "Nancy" closed with a snarky comment, stating that if my neighbor "can not afford our rates, she may want to call someone else in the future."
  
  Given that I was told that my neighbor had agreed to a service charge when she had not, that a part worth less than $50 cost $400, and that a 20 minute job would probably take 2-3 hours, I would recommend staying away from this business.
