Recently we had a pellet stove installed by Superior Fireplace and Garage Door. They were wonderful to work with as this was a big expense for us. They helped direct us to a model and install that worked with our budget and went above and beyond what we expected. We researched and visited different companies in the Southern Maryland area and Superior was the most reasonable as far as pricing for both the stove and the installation. The staff helped us by telling us how to take advantage of a coupon from the manufacturer as well as a grant refund for the model we purchased. The install went smoothly and the men who worked in our home were professional and cleaned up very well. Afterward installation was complete, they showed us how to use our new pellet stove. Call to schedule an appointment for an annual pellet stove cleaning and maintenance. The technician arrived on time and the stove looks great.

I have also ordered pellets from Superior. They had the best price for the pellets that I was looking for and were on sale during the summer. They do have a delivery service option available that was far more affordable than other retailers.

Great Customer service !! Honest !! The installers showed up on time, and cleaned up their mess before leaving the property. Gave me a detailed demonstration on how to operate my New pellet Stove. Highly recommended!! Black soot was from original wood burning fireplace.

We used superior to replace a non functional fireplace insert and install a second freestanding stove. In addition, they ran gas lines for the new stove and a hookup to my grill. Their service was simply amazing. They showed up on time and were very flexible and accommodating, and they took care of all the permit work wit the county. I highly recommend them for any fireplace or propane work.

Superior Fireplace and Garage Doors offers the absolute best in customer service. From the purchase of our pellet stove to the annual cleaning, Superior has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to be of service to the customer.

I highly recommend Superior because you can't find a more reliable or professional fireplace company in Southern Maryland.

I purchased a Harman P 43 pellet Stove in the summer of 2016. I was very pleased with the professional installation and the friendly helpful service. I had a minor problem with the thermostat and the owner immediately responded to my questions and solved my problem. They also did a great job cleaning the stove and showed me how to clean it myself in the future if I so desired.

I am very pleased with my Haman stove. It has a beautiful fire, and is easy to maintain, and very efficient. The reverse air flow on the window keeps the glass much cleaner than my old pellet stove and easy to clean. It heated my house just as I expected and with the thermostat maintaining an even temperature, I was able to burn pellets early in the fall and late in the spring, resulting in very little oil burning.

I highly recommend Harman stoves and Superior Fireplace!

Superior Fireplace and Garage Doorliving up to their name! Nothing but absolute professionalism and courtesy from the moment we stepped foot in their showroom.

In 2014, we purchased a pellet insert for our home. Shortly after installation, there was a slight venting problem. Superior was prompt in repairing the issue within days of contacting them. Fast forward to 2016same venting issue began to reoccur. Called them Tuesday to schedule a visit, they showed up the next day and did a complete vent replacement!

I can't speak for the garage door side, but don't imagine the service and professionalism would be any different. Great family owned/operated business. Highly recommended!

We have now used Superior twice for maintenace and repair work on our gas fireplace and pellet stove. In both jobs they not only fixed the problem(s), but they made our older fireplace inserts look and operate like new. The work was done on time and according to a detailed written estimate. The estimates detailed out all of the parts and labor costs.
The pellet stove is almost 20 years old, so Curt provided 2 detailed estimates - one to repair and one to replace - so we could make an informed decision.The office called in advance to schedule the work and the technicians arrived at the scheduled time. The technicians kept the work area very clean. We have been so impressed that we are having them come back again to repair a noisy garage door.
