Hotel staff gave my messages to another guest who happened to work with me. Also room didnt have hot water in the sink. Room320. Rooms were half cleaned. Literally one bed made and the other untouched. Had a person in lobby panhandling everyone for money first thing in morning. Never said anything to the lady. They completely over looked it. Also breakfast is frozen biscuits with gravy everyday. Yuck!!!! Rented 5 rooms for 2 weeks. Wont happen again.

This hotel was decent for what it was and especially for the region of the country that it's in. You either pay a lot for a hotel room or stay at a sketchy motel in this area. This hotel bridges that gap. The AAA rate had it just over $70 which was a fair price for the room and such.
-Staff: Super friendly and courteous, I felt welcome.
-Hotel: your basic Super 8, basic amenities, soda machines, etc.
-Room: Here's why I didn't rate it five star. My room had holes around places where utilities were hooked to the room (sprinkler, pipes, etc.) Where the sprinkler came into the room, the hole was bigger than the sprinkler. Something to keep in mind, that this is in the somewhat south, so there might be critters. I would suggest some caulking in the rooms
-Bathroom: again, holes around utility entrances. The tub could've used more cleaning attention. Otherwise, alright.
-Breakfast: My itinerary had me leaving before it started, but the breakfast area looked cozy.response / report this review -

The breakfast doesn't have much variety. The beds aren't very comfortable and I doubt they've been washed since the last guest, due to some stains, but maybe they just didn't come out in the wash. There is some broken tile in the bathroom, it is apparent that all the walls are in the middle of getting fixed. It does allow pets, which is nice. My nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. The ac unit needs a filter change, and probably has gor some tume. Overall, it was an okay stay and expected of the cheap price.

Just want to say THANK YOU to Sarah and the rest of the hotel staff.. Our room was clean and we were happy to have a People and Dog friendly place while we waited out Hurricane Irma. Great Value, Highly recommend based on our experience. Thanks Again, Gary , Jackie and Buddy the Dog. ;)

The room wasn't real clean. Cobwebs in the corner of the shower. The shower curtain was barely on the shower from the holes in it. Hairs on the top of the toilet tank. Exhaust fan sounded like a airplane, it was so loud. The curtains wouldn't close completely. Not worth the $75 it cost.

The hotel itself was comfortable, the room was not completely up to par but was ok. The area where the hotel is located is very racist. Mistreated in the stores as well as the restaurants. Won't ever visit this town again!

Gentleman checking us in went above and beyond, getting my pregnant wife into the room so she could lay down in a manner more timely than I've ever experienced anywhere.

The staff and management made me feel right at home from moment My family and I stepped into the door. I was was greeted with a warm smile and some good old southern hospitality. I have been here for over a week now and it is still the same. Tv works great, shower is hot, the Ac works prefect and the bed is comfortable. Best part is they wellcome our dog with open arms🙂 🐶
I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this one is by far my favorite one. Thank u for making us feel like we r right at home.response / report this review
