It was a spur of the moment stay. Enjoyed the room, barely any toiletries unfortunately but it was very clean and well managed.
They won't let me give no stars so by default I had to give 1 star. I can't even bring myself to give them 1 star because of my experience. Very poor customer service. Jamie at the front seat isn't even qualified enough to check people into a McDonald's let alone a hotel/motel. This hotel does not work well with orbits/expedia, they checked another guest in on my reservation then decided to tell me that the booking sight I used was in the he wrong. If your using a third party booking site I strongly advise you double and triple check your reservation before you leave your house or book at a hotel that hires a front desk attendant with at least a middle school education. Even the "manager" who I talked to passed the blame and was very unhelpful. Room cost me $200 and I wouldn't think a place this poor should be allowed to charge that much. Be advised don't stay here there are 2 better named hotels right beside this 1 that hopefully hire smarter people and can work better with a booking site.
I had to give a star to be able to give a review but this hotel deserves zero stars and to be shutdown. BEDBUGS BEDBUGS BEDBUGSDirty room, grimey tub and dusty everything..Moldy toilet and tub backed up. Old hard crusty linen and outdated furniture with food stains from who knows when. I asked for a non pet room but of course the room reeked of musty dog and soiled carpet. I continuously had to look for bedbugs all night so I got absolutely no rest. Im bitten up on my face, arms, neck, shoulders as well as my daughter. I killed one and took pics. The front desk clerk (who seemed high as the sky) stared at me bewildered as I explained my horrible experience. He had no compassion or suggestions just spacey looks. I asked for the manager and he advised he would be available after 8a. I took his card and will be following up after I attempt to have a productive work day.
Okay I gess, no micro and despite my bad back I had to stay upstairs which about killed me despite my request but clerk was courteous and decent..
Hotel is poorly maintained and used bait and switch tactics. The Windows are easily Accessible from exterior . The lobby was filthy. The front desk clerk was rude went to the red roof inn down the street and found the hotel in better repair and a very friendly and helpful staff.
Pretty dirty bathroom. Obvious hair clogged sink, something all over the tissue holder and nastiness on the door even I could get with a little effort and a Clorox wipe. Bed and pillows were comfy though, that's a plus.
Requested a non-smoking room. Bedding was covered in burn holes and roomed smelled like tobacco. Checked beds and found bugs..
We got in late, and the first thing we noticed was that the hotel smelled like moth balls. We turned the air on, and it got a little better, but didn't go away. We discovered that the air from the wall unit was kicking out wierd smelling air. The next morning, we noticed that the carpet felt sticky and left a black residue on our feet. Our sheets had stains on them too. For $53 on Priceline, we didn't expect a new building or luxury, butsome cleanliness would be nice! We eventually asked to cancel our reservation for the next two nights, and they issued us a refund. So, I guess that's good!
If I could give this place negative stars I would. The room was left a mess. It smells. The customer service was not helpful what so ever and the manager wasnt either. Overall the experience was terrible and I recommend you not to stay here. I noticed plenty of other hotels very close in the area and would have definitely paid the extra amount to not have to deal with the sketchiness that was this hotel. Big mistake. Never staying at another super 8 again.
I have never stayed at a worse hotel. Dirty, smelly, and I found bed bugs which they chose to do nothing about. The room smelled of cigarettes even though the room said non smoking and there was a dead roach laying on the bathroom floor. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. There are plenty of hotels in the area. Pay the extra. Thank me later
This was a terrible experience. The floor was obviously not vacuumed, there were cigarette burns on the dirty sheets in the room along with hair pieces strewn about the pillow cases. Even with the working heat, lights, and TV, I urge you to go a step up and not stay here.
One of the nicest Super 8s I've stayed in. Everything was clean and well-kept. Internet was spotty, though.
This hotel is undergoing some renovations. It is rather worn as far as fixtures go. My bed sheets had some damage to them near the top, but seemed clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet is ok. I particularly booked because of the DIY waffles, but there was no spray for the waffle iron or utensil to remove the waffle. I used my plastic fork to pry it out, which was then not usable to eat. This hotel was reasonably priced and adequate for a one night stay.
Wish I could put zero stars. First thing when I got to my room, I found cigarette burns on comforter and also the next blanket underneath that. Looked like blood on the curtains, and the room was filthy. Terrible!
And then to top it all off they charge you for the room, and without telling you hold an additional cost of the room on your card for up to seven days for liabilities. Do not go here, pay a little more, spare yourself the headache.
The price was great and our first encounter with the front desk employee was pleasurable. Unfortunately though the rooms were not very clean. Hair, dirt, and build up was through out our room. There were stains on pillows and towels. Cable worked great though and free WiFi which was nice. Overall customer service was great, but cleanliness was lacking.
