The room and overall decor seems a little dated (or at least requires some refinement). The complimentary breakfast however offered a lot of selection, was filling, and was an unexpected but great start to the day.

Was a good stay. Product is good however, need to beef up policy of guest smoking illegal drugs in room. Other than this my stay was good.

Rooms are somewhat decent but the biggest negative aspect is the horrible amount of prostitution and drug-dealing clean it up.

Checked in to this Super 8 & as soon as I walked in the room, turned on the light ROACH BUGS running everywhere !!!!! Went to the front desk & they would not give my money back!!!! Talked to the Hotel Manager/ Owner Rick Ghaundi & he said he was not going to refund my money!!!! Long Story short I still have not received my money back !!!! Do Not, I Repeat, Do Not Stay At This Hotel the People Are Very Rude & Unless You Want To Sleep With Roach Bugs. Please Do Not Stay Here !!!!

I'm only giving a one star because I have to but this is a HORRIBLE hotel!! We booked rooms because we have to evacuate SC. We called on Wed to let them know we were coming in on Thurs and the manager told us he didn't have reservations for us. Even though I CALLED to make the reservations AND gave them my card information. So from there we were under the impression we had no reservations and nowhere to evacuate to. The manager just called us about our reservations asking if we were still coming today..well yesterday he said they didn't exist so we did not leave SC to head there. I explain to him what happened and explained we would need time to pack and get there and he tells me, "I don't have time for this bullshit." The MANAGER cussed me out and said he is giving his rooms to someone else because of a mistake HE made! He told me that he didn't want our business and would be cancelling our reservations. We have 3 children: 8, 4, and 5 1/2 months and we really needed those reservations so we could evacuate the Charleston area. This man clearly has no heart and isn't willing to admit that HE, not his employees, is the one who made the mistake. The manager is who told us when we called that he didn't have us down! HORRIBLE service and during a time when people need it the most and to cuss me out over his mistakeI would NEVER stay at this hotel if this is how they will treat people, especially since this is supposed to be the manager.
