Overall good stay and definitely one of the better hotels in the Augusta area. The hotel is conveniently located downtown, quick to pretty much anything you want. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. There restaurant and bar areas are very nice and the food is pretty good but overpriced as many hotels. There is valet and paid garage parking along with two buildings. If you are going to the Suites it is not in the main building.

The Marriott is very clean, the employees were very nice, and my goodness they catered our event perfectly i feel like. It is just place to meet if you don't spend the night, so for what it is, it definitely does the job right. Love how it's downtown, I LOVE the Boll Weevil, right next to it!

Great hotel with everything you could ever need. The staff is extremely helpful and very professional. They have an Italian Restaurant with a full bar and the food and service is first class. Gated outdoor pool with beautiful views of the historic Savannah River. Located on the Riverwalk in the middle of historic downtown Augusta Georgia. I highly recommend you consider this hotel for your next visit to Augusta.

Fleeing from Irma from Naples this hotel is a gem! People are very friendly and it's pet friendly also which we are so grateful for. Room was nice and the food is great. We will definitely come back. We fell in love with Augusta.

Nice enough hotel. If they put you in a suite you will have a long walk to get from the front desk to your room. The parking was approx. $7 a night if you park yourself and roughly double if you use a concierge. Area was safe and there were nice restaurants immediately across the street. Also, the hotel is on the water walk so you can have a nice walk along the water front. Just make sure you are in the main hotel not the suites or be prepared to walk.

Highly fancy. Huge chandeliers and huge hallways. Love it. Pools were so amazing. Love love love. Take your kids here and they will have the time of their lives. Wear nicer clothes, as most people wear suits and ties.

Very beautifully appointed from the lobby, to the hallways, to the room. The view from our room was spectacular! We had a lovely view of the river and part of downtown. We were within an easy walk off several good restaurants. Dessert at Boll Weevils was amazing!

Perfect stay for an Augusta Birthday Weekend!
Our room was sleek, modern,comfy and clean. It felt like we had our own penthouse studio apartment.
There's nothing better than waking up in your suite to 4 large windows of views of the river!
Even the bathroom had majestic views overlooking the pool.
I will say that the hotel can be a bit confusing to navigate as there are multiple towers (main tower and the suites tower). I didn't like that you couldn't check into the suites tower after a certain timeso you have to go back fourth from tower to tower.
** On a good note there's bell service to help with luggage but I prefer taking care of my own luggage and parking. (I'm kind of weird about that)
As for parking it can be a bit confusing just because you have to navigate what's blocked off or not.
***BUT! once you park there's no need to leave. There's plenty of bars, restaurants, and other attractions within walking distance of the hotel. Heck! There's an art museum across the street from the entrance of the hotel.
The staff was another awesome factor! The hospitality was on point! Everyone was friendly and willing to do what it takes to make your stay perfect.
The minor issue I had was the the ice machines need an upgrade. I had to travel down 2 floors in order to get ice.

I attended a week long course here. The food was excellent, the convention center rooms were clean and well put together with proper equipment including great lighting controls. Everything went smoothly.

Nice, updated rooms. Clean but there was a smell near the elevators like mold which was unappealing. Restaurant in the lobby was nice and had good cocktails, friendly service, nice selection of bourbon and good snacks (recommend the house chips).

If your in Augusta GA don't waste your time with this hotel, find a cheaper hotel on Washington Road, or other. Three stars is stretching it. PROS: The employees are friendly and accommodating, however issues with this hotel seem to stem from more internal. CONS: This hotel has just been inconvenient from the start of check-in. From an issue with a per-authorized reservation (waited about 20 minutes), from adding an extra weeks stay (more wait), to having access to parking and concierge lounge with gold membership. Plus front desk didn't seem to interested in upgrading to a suite with a low occupancy at the time. In hotel restaurant is extremely expensive, from the 50.00 fillets to the 8.00 drafts. Never left a review on any of the 30+ hotels I may have stayed in the past several yearsbut felt compelled to leave this one.

We stayed here while a family member was in the hospital. The staff was very concerned and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed as we came in at all hours. We changed reservations constantly depending on who was staying that day. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Even though they had several events, the hotel was never noisy.
