Avoid!! The owner of the park rates the place here as a 1 star Pat Trimble, I! There is Nothing here.. If you have kids not friendly bunch of grumpy 65+ year old;s very rude very grumpy!!! It will take you 30 mins to check in or out. the office has no clue about customer service.. All they want to do is talk to you like your dumb!! Maintence here is S*it If I could rate it a zero I would!

My husband just worked for these guys for four months and had no complains on him. Tim started disrespecting my husband and talking down to him, he let it go a few times but then he told the Tim there was a problem with the way he was talking to him but yet it still happened after that. My husband ended up quitting. They had a meeting to resolve the issue and Tim wasn't even there (which is the person the problem was with) Tim's wife Pat said this is how my husband is and he is not going to change so take it or leave it So my husband left. When my husband called to see if his last check was in, Pat said "you don't have another check" but yet they held his check when he started working there so whathe just worked for free? We are a family of six, with three small kids and a baby. My husband busted his ass for these people and this is how they treat him so can you imagine how they will treat if you. These people seem nice at first but they are disrespectful and don't care about anyone except themselves.

I was the weary traveler. I had misjudged my cross Florida trip from Miami to Sarasota. Driving my Class A and towing a Motorcycle Trailer I was really reaching a point in the early evening that it wasn't wise to continue on. I saw the Sunshine RV Resort sign coming up on my left. Even at a 60 mile per hour glance I could tell the place was squeaky clean which is an excellent indicator of all other checklist minimums. I pulled in, dialed the after hours number, plead my case and the management team of Pat and Tim immediately interrupted their own dinner and went to work to care for me. The park didn't have aan available pull through long enough to accommodate my 51 feet of wagon train BUT Pat knew I was too tired to safely carry on. She wouldn't let me leave. I felt I had arrived at Mom's House and Pat was not going to let me go another mile without a safe night's sleep. Tim CREATED A LONG ENOUGH PULL THROUGH FOR ME BY BLOCKING OFF A FULL STREET AND PARKING ME ON THE PAVEMENT!!! He got me 50 amps, water, sewer and even Cable TV by running the cables and hoses under my rig to a passenger side slot. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? If you want hospitality that rivals family visit Pat and Tim at Sunshine RV Resort. When they say "Whatever it takes - we'll take care of you" THEY MEAN IT!

Awesome park with an awesome staff and maintenance crew. Park is meticulously maintained. Although its a ways away from any big cities, its a pleasure to be here. Came down for the winter in a camper and liked it so much that we decided to buy a park model and make it our permanent winter retreat. Everyone here have been very welcoming. Cant say enough about the place and highly recommend it to all.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. The staff are liars and con artists. I stayed here in their scuzziest rental without knowing prior how bad it was. They promised (more than once) a partial refund since it was so disgusting and it never happened.

This is one of the nicest and friendliest RV parks that we have encountered --- and we have traveled as full time RVers for 7 years, crossing the US several times. Their fees are fair, they offer a number of activities, and the people are great (This is what makes the park so good.) It is a safe environment and we could leave things unlocked without fear of theft. (Did lock up when leaving for any length of time as that is simply common sense.) Fees are reasonable and they recognize Passport America which offers great discounts. (Not available in Jan and Feb as I recall) Many first timers land up buying park models after the first visit which says a lot for the park.
