This Place USED TO be Awesome. 7 or so years ago I visited the Sunset Grill & Tap They had something like 150 beers on Draft, an Expansive Menu, Knowlegable Staff and Booming Crowds.

I stopped by last night remembering how awesome it was and i was Totally Disappointed.

Only 30 or 40 of the 150 taps Were being used and the first Four Beers I ordered off of the Printed Beer Menu, were out. The menu has been reduced to a small single sheet of "Popular Dishes". I got a Mexicali Burrito and it was Just "OK"

Its now just another pub trying to be a craft beer bar The sad thing is that it USED to be a really good craft beer bar Now its Just Sad

Very nice place. I had the Reuben sandwich, fries and Guinness. The sandwich was delicious and the beer was cold. The glass front of the building offers good street views. The staff and clientele were friendly. Lots of restaraunts and bars in the immediate area.

Wings were pretty dry, and the sliders were basically a hockey puck. Heard the enchiladas and beer were good. If you enjoy a loud bar environment with good beer and meh food this place is for you!

The kitchen is under renovation, so their menu is rather limited right now. Their shrimp quesadilla is still available and that is quite amazing. I love the beer selection here, and the atmosphere is always great.

Awesome beer selection, best around. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Loud, fun place to grab drinks although it gets busy with crowds of college kids. Pretty good food, menu is a wider selection than your average bar.

Phenomenal food and beer selection. Best in Boston. I don't drink beer a lot but I loved it. Great Beef Ribs.

We were never offered refills on our water, even though we had spicy food. No one was able to order a second beer, or asked if their food was ok. Waitress ignored our party of 8 as soon as good was delivered. 6 members of the party had to throw cash on the table and leave before the check even arrived because it was taking so long.

Sunset is very accommodating for larger parties. Huge beer selection!! Average Mexican food tho. Have always left here satisfied.

Used to really love this place. It's still pretty good and great if you want to try one of their multitude of drink options. The food seems less good of late, though, and it took 3 tries for them to bring out our correct order last time (made worse, really, since half of the 8 person party ordered the exact same meal of a rack of ribs and just had different combinations of sides). Additionally, parking is ALWAYS difficult in that area and there's a severe lack of handicapped parking spots nearby. Overall, I used to rank it a 4/5, but have to bump it down one for the increased difficulty to park and the waning food quality.
