Me and my two girlfriends went to stay for a few nights to get away and relax. The grounds were amazing. The entire staff were so sweet and helpful. We got just a regular room and the walls were pretty thin so, next time we will get a casita of our own.

The hot tubs are all different temperatures and the pool is perfect and not too cold.

Every one was amazing and it was so beautiful. Can't wait to go back!
    Thanks!

A beautiful property set on the outskirts of Santa Fe New Mexico , we had heard about this Resort from a close friend of ours. Beautiful, quiet, and relaxing oh, it was the time away that we really needed. The on-site restaurant served a variety of Choice Foods for any taste. The soaking pools were nice and hot, and available to us all day everyday. The puppy patch is not to be missed! Due to covid, there was no yoga, but the space they have set aside for it is beautiful and peaceful. Definitely recommended

Pleasant space not far from Albuquerque to relax in much green, water, activities and comfort. Good restaurant, the Blue Heron and spacious hot water pools. Could do without the changing colors in the pools and a bit hotter temperature would make it just right. Room was clean, good bed as well. A bit overpriced but still worth a visit.

Had a lovely late breakfast with 3 friends at The Blue Heron this morning. We were seated outside on their picturesque patio overlooking the the water. The wind came up suddenly very strong & it began to sprinkle. Our server quickly got us moved inside & set up at a table which offered the same view. The food & service were flawless. The weather calmed & we toured the grounds after our meal. It is GORGEOUS, a true oasis with many trees, water features and lush green grass.

Totally agree about the lack of organization that another reviewer commented on. Called the spa to make an appointment they seemed confused about availability & I was on hold for a while. When I arrived there was more confusion about what treatment they could offer. This did not make me feel relaxed upon arrival. There are no dressing rooms currently so you have to change clothes in a bathroom with no shower. No communal tub or pool available, they did have a dry sauna that was upstairs. Carpet upstairs was dirty, seems like nobody ever used the sauna. The whole facility seemed pretty empty while I was there. The 80 minute massage was seriously underwhelming, not even mediocre & with the 20% “included“gratuity was over $220. Totally overpriced for the quality or level of expertise of the therapist. I have gotten amazing treatments done at Ojo Caliente that were worth every penny, plus at Ojo you get the added benefit of use of the pools & saunas. This experience really paled in comparison. If you are in Santa Fe & cannot make the drive to Ojo, I would definitely choose Ten Thousand Waves over Sunrise. Nice grounds to the property but a total waste of my time & money.

The location is a 5 star but my experience this passed weekend was pretty sad! I attended drinks and dinner on the patio to listen to the live band! I adored the location and live a minute alway so I was super thrilled to attended! Once we arrived I went into the area where drinks and food were coming out.. I asked if I order drinks here? I was told to have a seat and a menu would be taken to me! I waited for a menu for about 10 minutes.. once I received it I wasn't informed about any wines or foods to try! I got up after ten additional minutes to order a bottle was told it would be out.. again no acknowledgement of my presents! I waited an additional ten minutes went back in and asked about the wine? I noticed guests who came in after me already had their drinks! This was very upsetting as the waitress acted as if I was invisible! To busy to ask how can I assist you and to busy to go up stairs to get my bottle! After an additional ten minutes a different waitress brought our wine out. She was nicer than the other woman but again had to get up and pay for out bill! Yet again wait while everyone else was waited on! I felt like your team that afternoon did not go above and beyond! Also felt like they passed judgement on us!

I can't say enough great things about Sunrise Springs Resort! While there I had two spa treatments done and can say I've never had a better massage in my life!! The facial was amazing as well and the products they use are natural and do not irritate your skin. I spent 5 hours here and enjoyed every minute of it!

We are currently staying here in early December, 2016. What a beautiful, serene setting! There's an itinerary of activities that reminded me of being at summer camp. The staff are all extremely kind and accommodating. The food at the restaurant is absolutely 5 star. Art classes, horticulture, meditating, yoga, massage. Puppy play! Seriously, puppies.

Both my wife and I are breathing in the beauty and love and exhaling our stress and anxiety. This is just the perfect interruption in our busy lives.
