My family and I stayed in the two bedroom apartment. First off, some of the lamps don't have light bulbs. There are crickets somehow getting into the house every night. Appliances and cookware are dated and damaged (pots and pans are so scratched that everything sticks to it). The cable comes in only half the time, this would be fine if WIFI didn't cost extra. The heater is extremely noisy. The toilets make a racket when flushed. The mattresses and sheets are quite possibly the worst I've ever encountered. And to top it all off, it costs $2.50 for one load of laundry. For $1450 a month I expected much better. Will not be returning.
The only good part of this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly.
This is our second stay. Very nice place with a super nice manager. He was so kind and gave us a great room. We really liked the environment of the facility. It is peaceful, quiet, and walking distance to a the main part of the town. We walked to breakfast and when we went out for drinks . Overall it was wonderful.
Great hidden gem. Room was awesome and spacious. They really have upgraded everything and modernized it. We had tv's in every room, usb ports, kitchenette, comfy bed and covered parking. It's off the highway, and somewhat hidden, but this is a great find. Management was friendly and helped us find our room. Property is old west desert style and the hotel is not far from the Park. Rooms are VERY clean and aged but renovated. Would come back every chance I get.
Stayed at this hotel overnight to watch the Orionid meteor shower. Its location just outside Joshua Tree Natnl Park made it convenient, and the room was beautiful. They had a neat little area that was desert themed with a functioning swing set for kids and adults.
Great location, clean suite, friendly staff and late check in available.
Nice motel not a lot of people visit
A big surprise when we approached the hotel. We wouldn't believe our eyes. Many thousands of lights blinking following the rhythm of Christmas tunes from a Radio Station.
There is a yearly contest which they won 5 times in row.
During daytime it was rather unspectacular, but only then you see the many miles of cable that were used.
It's tucked away in a residential area. Rooms are clean and laid out like apartments with full kitchens. Very roomy but nothing luxurious.
Very cosy. Cute little hotel. Love the old fashion feel
Perfect for longer stays. Converted apt complex into hotel suites, so LG rooms with kitchens and supplies! The grounds are awesome, old West themed. Private patios or balcony with grills, and chairs, so you can bbq! Lots of parking. Was able to bring my pet. I would stay here again if visit 29 plams!
Each year SV Garden Suites puts on a lovely Christmas light and music show. It's great to experience with friends and family and everyone is welcome to pull up, tune-in, and watch the show every evening from sunset until 10pm.
Our stay at a 2-bedroom suite was pretty good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were plenty of amenities in the suite such as utensils for cooking. Living room, dining area, etc were nice.
