I went in looking for a battery for my backup sump pump. The batteries are located near the back of the store. No one said a word to me the entire time I was in the store. To include my long walk out of the front door without buying anything.

This is the best place you can possibly buy a Big Green Egg anywhere around Indiana. They will work with you on the MAP price. They also have a very good selection of eggcessories, grilling accessories and ROCKWOOD, the best lump charcoal you can buy.

Buyer beware. You really need to watch their pricing. I got two propane tanks filled there and when paying, their price per gallon was 64% higher than the Tractor Supply just down the road. I checked the price for a can of WD-40 lubricant and their price was 186% higher than an autoparts store just a few blocks away. With crazy rip-off pricing like this, this Ace just lost what was a fairly loyal customer.

I just spent fifteen minutes in this store looking for what I needed. I was never offered assistance. When I found it finally, I noticed that rather than offering to help, their cashier stood at the end of the isle watching me like a hawk because I was attempting to match thread depths on a lag bolt, and she apparently found it more prudent to watch me like a shop lifter than offer assistance. After all of this, I attempt to buy a $3.00 pack of bolts only to be told there was a five dollar minimum on card purchases. Many people don't even carry cash anymore. Then to add insult to injury, the same cashier starts trying to sell me candy and soda to meet their minimum. No thanks. Location is the only reason I've ever set foot in that store to begin with. They are insanely over priced. Location be damned, they will never get my business again. I honestly hope they go out of business. Between their prices and attitude, they deserve to.

Went to look at paint. After looking around without anyone asking me if I needed help, I asked the young man at the paint desk, who was still ignoring me, if they carried Valspar. He responded, "Valspar?" When I told him it was a paint brand, he pointed at a sign rudely and said "we only carry Benjamin Moore." ACE advertises that they sell Valspar, but since he clearly was not interested in helping me, I just said thank you and left.

I love this place! The owners are hands on and they have the best prices and selection of dog food anywhere. Vicki, one of the owners, may be the nicest person I have ever met. The whole staff is very helpful.

Visited to buy paint brushes. Male employee kep watching us by w continuously walking past the isle we were in. I thought it was creepy. Then when my husband and I walked into the main isle on our way to check out, there stood the cashier. That's when I became very offended as I realized they had been watching us. That will be the last time I step foot into this business.
