This was such a neat place. The beers were huge and ice cold and the personal pan pizzas were totally worth it.

Awesome food!!! Very retro, can get fish bowls of beer. Great Italian food, very authentic.

One of my all time favorite hang outs. The BEST pizza! Great food in general. But we'll miss our Scotty:( Get some 1/2 baked pies to go!

    been going for 40+ years!
different ownership now but still good.
famous upside down thin crust pizza with smoked provolone and sweet marinara sauce on top!
a little bigger than a personal pan.
small antipasto with house dressing goes well!
either love em or hate em.
    Get a pie to go!

I'm clearly missing something here. This place was bad. The outside is very cool, retro. The inside is cute, but updated, so no longer has charm and character. The food was terribly disappointing. The pizza was an appetizer at best (which given the $6 price I guess should be expected). Tiny plate sized, extremely thin and crispy crust (think crackers), thin mediocre sauce and not sure of the cheese since there was so little of it. Also had a grilled chicken salad which was iceberg lettuce with rubbery, tasteless chicken. Service was very friendly though. If this is the "best pizza in Harrisburg", then the city must be suffering mightily!!

Driven past the cafe for 50 years and had an old friend take me there last evening. Great experience and food. Our server was super and the pizza was everything it was said to be.

Love the pizza and meatballs. Nice friendly staff. Good prices. They have been open since 1948, so that should tell you they are doing something really good.

I've only been here once so I can't speak on their food quite yet, however I must say their crab cake platter is not good, very bland. Also prepare to rub shoulders with the next table and possibly a waitress, it is cramped!

One of the oldest places to eat in Hbg. Food is always hot and quick service if your in a pinch! The best and some will say unusual pizza you can find in the area. Fun, friendly atmosphere wait staff A+
