Strike Zone's "Island Excursion" is one of the best "To Do's" in the Florida Keys. Snorkeling, history of the Keys, fishing off the boat, cook-out on the boat, fantastic views, bird sanctuary, great staff. You can't ask for me!
Didn't do a charter but rented some snorkel grear. Decent prices, great service, and pretty good quality equipment. Would rent again. They have a good selection of spear fishing and dive gear in the shop too!
Loved it! Great crew and amazing scenery. Captain Jeff and Sara were great. Although like 80% of our group got seasick. We still had a blast.
Great snorkel tour by locals that know the area well. They chose some of the best spots for us and were very pleasant 10/10
These guys were lots of fun. Took us to amazing snorkel area, saw dolphins, sea turtles, barracuda, parrot fish, grouper, many, many others. May have had a belly flopping competition, lollllll . . .
Went on the island excursion adventure. Got to learn about all of the keys and their history, then snorkelled a reef, then did some catch and release fishing, and topped it off with anchoring at picnic island and having a fish cookout. The guides were awesome. Definitely a fun day! Will be back for more adventures with strike zone! Loved it!
We went on the snorkeling trip to 2 different reefs. Don't be turned off by the lady in the office. She was not friendly at all. However, our boat staff was amazing. Our captain was Jeff and his dive assistant was Christine. They made the trip so much more fun. They were very knowledgeable when we were all asking questions. They laughed with us and it was a great distraction when I got a little motion sick. They were very nice and helpful with everything. Everything went very smoothly. Jeff even let us play with the dolphins for a few minutes as we were getting ready to head back. The price was very reasonable and we had a great time! Side note, the nice lady that's in the office gave us some amazing recommendations for restaurants, which we tried, and she was right on with her recommendations.
Nice trip on the water. However, they DO NOT have any "glass bottom" boats! They advertise them on their website and when I asked in person they responded that they did have glass bottom boats and even again at dockside. My wife doesn't do water and was most disappointed she could not see the reef and some of the fish. When I complained after the trip I was totally blown off. So. unless you are going to dive or snorkel you are just taking a $28 boat ride.
