Building closed for the winter, but the parking lot was just fine for a nap on a long trip.

The visitor center is not open everyday but it would be good to drop by when it is open especially during the kokanee salmon spawning season, when they turn orange. Spawning runs begin late August and peak by mid September.
Information can be found inside the center and a ranger is present to answer your questions. You can walk along the boardwalk to visit the "trapping facility" where the staff can show you the salmon and answer questions.

Were closed the last time we tried to go in. The boardwalks are nice little walks, and its a great place to stretch and rest from traveling..
