Food is reliable and comforting. The beer is what draws me back every time. And the restaurant is in front of a great antiques market.

Wonderful food, good service but I wish they had more sides to choose from. If you dont eat or like that nights veg you are out of luck. The prices are a little higher then I remembered though.

The atmosphere is great, location is easy to find, our food was fantastic, I ordered the grilled romaine and my fiancé ordered the stout burger. We sat in the red room and absolutely loved every minute of it! Our server, Nicole had a great personality and made great recommendations!! We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and will be coming back for another visit!

Food was good and average portions. My daughter and I sat at the bar for dinner. I ordered 2 drinks at the bar and the one drink did not meet my expectation. After leaving the full drink at the bar I asked for one to be removed. Stefanie the bartender, in an arrogant tone, said "You ordered these drinks why should I take them off". As a courtesy on a $95 check I do not feel that was inappropriate, however after the tone I was addressed by the employee, I would not return.

I love Stoudt's! I don't know how they could have anything besides a 5star rating! I always get the Pork Schnitzel but had tried many things on the menu. My husband and I love the beer so much, the great food, and the rustic quirky atmosphere so much, we got married there!!! All the cheese and bread is made fresh. Must give it a try.

Friendly staff, quick and efficient service. The scenery is a mix collection of era paintings and movie posters. Cozy in the evening. Ordered multiple different entrees, soup, and fritters all very good, table of 5 were all happy with their entire meals. Will go back.

I've lived up the street from this place for ages, and finally decided to meet an old friend here to try it out. Before I ordered the food, I decided to look at the comments. After doing so, I didn't order anything, but he did. He got a fish sandwich. When it was brought out, it smelled really fishy (as in old and not fresh), and he messaged me later saying his stomach didn't feel quite right. Decor is beautiful, though. Management, please fix your food, and you'd have a great place to run!

One thing to note, in the men's bathroom are hung many vintage pictures of nude women. If any underage kids go there, that might be a concern for parents.

This place is amazing. Everything from the food, to the beer, to the atmosphere, to the helpful wait staff. The food was absolutely delicious with big portions. The beer was so over the top. It made me rethink everything about their beer selection. I have never seen a place with an atmosphere like here. It was super comfortable and so cool eclectic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and beer selection. She was also very helpful making sure everything was exactly what we ordered and prepared properly. I would recommend anyone in the area should stop by eat here and have a few beers.

My friend recommended this place. We were excited to try something new. Upon arrival there were 3 cars at 5:30PM. 2 people sitting at bar and nobody in restaurant. We should have left right then We went into a booth and the table was about to fall over. I really thought I was on an episode of kitchen nightmares. This place needs a huge makeover. We went for the pretzel and vanilla porter they offer. They were out of pretzels how???? Nobody was there! Also, they don't serve vanilla porter anymore. Again.. we should have left. We ordered chicken strips and fries for kid-- he only ate the fries I ordered the pulled pork and potatoes.. I couldn't find the pork from the mashed potatoes being on top, very dry and fatty. I took one bite. My husband got the schnitzel and took one bite and gagged from the sauce. The waitress who was nice asked how food was and we told her it was bad and we wanted the check. She seemed stunned and said she would not charge for the two meals. After ten minutes waiting I went to the front to pay and she got really rude and gave the check and charged 22$ for one of the plates I was stunned but just wanted to leave at that point. She had no other tables but seemed overwhelmed. My guess is since nobody was there eating she couldn't void the charges. We will never go back. For this to be a tourist attraction is beyond me. PA people really need to explore more.

Met some friends here for lunch. The food was very good. If you like German food you must try this place! I had the Veal Schnitzel, they cutlets were a little over cooked for my taste, but the gravy was very good. My son had a burger that he thought was "Awesome." My Wife had the Brats and they were also very good. Great selection of beer too!
