Ate at this restaurant while visiting my brother and his family in Greensburg, IN. We had breakfast before leaving out to return home. The waitress was very friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. Would definitely return if given the opportunity!
Food is usually good. Usually very busy and very noisy. They have the best butterscotch pie, but you have to make sure the waitress brings it as soon as you order it. Otherwise you may not get it as was the case tonight, even though I did order with my meal!!!
As old school as it gets - and I liked it a bunch! Like going over to Grandma's for dinner including a big ole slice of homemade pie. An Americana gem!
Great little "Mom&Pop" type restaurant. Across street parking and in back - front and back entrance. Lots of seating, friendly servers, breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Fast service. Nice, clean place. Reasonable prices.
I had the chicken salad plate. It was the best I've had in quite a long time!!!
The waitress waitress however she was extremely pleasant to me. But when my friend Jody asked her to wipe off the dirty table, NOT so nice.
I'll be going back.
Food is very good, service is decent, very loud atmosphere
The location is dated and the menus were covered in stains and fallung apart. The menu does have a bunch of options but mainly american comfort food. I ordered the 2 piece tenderloin dinner with mashed potatoes and side salad. The tenderloin was reccommended by a couple people I talked to. The Salad was basic iceberg lettuce mix with carrots in it. Nothing special. The dinner plate was lacking. There was a single scoop of mashed (possibly instant) potatoes with bland packet gravy on top. The tenderloins looked like chicken fried steak (not fried, just looked like it) See my pic of this meal. I had already cut up one of the pieces but you get the picture. Service was pleasant and quick. Would not recommend to others.
Awesome good food & awesome homemade pies with several choices to choose from. Quaint atmosphere & quick & friendly staff. Awesome
Friendly staff and very economical place to eat. Traditional diner atmosphere and menu, nothing fancy. Simple and good.
Works like any other diner; come in and find a seat, someone will be with you shortly. Waitresses are busy grabbing plates and attending to tables. It's a diner. Must be doing something right, they've been open forever and a day. Try the tenderloin, after all it's Central Indiana.
Definitely worth driving off the interstate 6 minutes for a great dinner experience. The servers were awesome and the atmosphere was welcoming. The food is delicious! We had the roast beef manhattan and the Swiss steak👍🏻. The strawberry pie and coconut cream pie was delicious.
Tenderloin was awesome! Pie was sold out for the day 😑 I sure wanted to try a piece of coconut cream 😀
Stories is a family owned and operated business that has existed in Greensburg for many years! If you are there, the pie is a must!
Old school diner. Did took awhile to get to us but was really good.
The Big Tenderloin sandwich is the BEST! When strawberries are in season their strawberry pours is utterly awesome! Chocolate shake is handmade with chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk and chocolate syrup!!! Yum Yum!
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great food
