Great fun if you are a Britophile! Extensive beer and whisky collection
Stoney's is always a friendly atmosphere. If the owner Mike Stone is there, he'll be one of the first to greet you at the door. The food is always good, but expect a wait when it gets crowded.
The food was quite good. Real mashed potatoes and flaky crust on the sausage rolls. The service could've been more attentive. No one checked on me after my meal arrived nor asked if I wanted another cider. Might give it another try when not by myself.
An English pub tucked in a corner of Route 202 in North Wilmington. Authentic British food and a great choice of beers and ale from Great Britain and Ireland.
Fish and chips are great, bangers and mash are delicious, Sheppard's pie is so good! I haven't found a thing that I won't eat there. I even like their blood sausage, which is served during breakfast when The Premier League is on.
He's got a great beer selection, and the atmosphere is lively!
Great place to watch futbol. Knowledgeable crowd and friendly staff.
Great place to drink. Beer selection is good but expensive. They open during EPL season for breakfast which is traditional English fare. Can't recommend enough
Food: Some great tradition British pub food like fish n' chips, bangers and mash, etc. Everything is clean and authentic.
Atmosphere: Could be a little better kept up, but a very homey and authentic feel to the place.
Service: Could be a little faster but friendly and polite.
A comfortable and homey bar with friendly peoplr and bartender. There are many repeat customers here.
Great place. Great foof
Good guinness! I haven't eaten there in a while, but I remember the good being good. Nice staff as well.
Great experience here, lucky enough to get to chat with the owner. Ask about the pictures on the walls, a life well lived, serving up authentic Brit pub food with special nights. Have attended wonderful whiskey tastings. Get over there and try it.
As always, delicious food. Great place for watching the best in football.. One does wonder why they serve "shepherds" pie, when in fact what they serve is actually a "cottage" pie. Another great visit. Thanks Mike for bringing your moms recipes to this part of the world
