Today morning I called because someone recommended me the place for Christmas Eve dinner. Some John or Josh answered and asked me to call later because according to him it were many options to choose from for dinner. I called later and he answered again, but this time told me there were no options but the regular menu, so the first time it was a lie, I think because he doesn't want to have to many customers that night and go home early.
Anyway I asked him for a reservation at 8pm and in a very rude tone he told me: " Mam, we stop serving at 7pm, everybody here wants to go home and celebrate Christmas too".
Maybe he chose wrong his career and he doesn't realize that he works in services and entertaining. Besides for sure I would have understood they close early without the rude answer.
Thanks to John or Josh I am not eating again in Stonebridge. It is a shame that a great restaurant becomes a bad reputation one for one employee who hates his job.

Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had in CT. The piece of cod is huge and melts in your mouth. The fries are delicious and generous amount, also served nicely. Great outdoors sitting area with nice view. Will be back soon and this place is in my top 10

Hugely popular in the summer due to the outdoor patio, it is where locals go on Friday and Saturday nights. There's usually live entertainment, good food and the lobster rolls are amazing. If I had to say anything negative, the bouncer/doormen are rude and cocky, like they are doing you a favor by letting you in. If I owned the place, I'd fire most of them. If you get there after 10pm, you're going to wait in line as the bouncers take their time looking at IDs as if they take pride in making you wait.

Amazing mixed drinks, on one of those rare nights that I desire a mixed drink, I'll visit Stonebridge. They make a cosmopolitan that is beyond description. The bar food is amazing. This is a very fine place to dine and take along dear friends.
The mixed drinks are expensive but perfect!

Attended a bridal shower here. The wait staff were attentive to our tables and to our buffet table (changing out empty food trays, ie). The inside is very pretty.

Stonebridge, after a recent renovation, continues to be a great location to dine. The menu is excellent. Seafood is the staple, but you can find great salads and side dishes. The prices are on the higher side ($14.90 for one of the salads on the menu), but the food is top notch. I frequent this restaurant often and I have always been absolutely impressed on the presentation and quality of the dishes. During the summer, weekend nights are packed full of people trying to have a good time. The outside patio area and wonderful views of a pond and waterfall makes Stonebridge a classy and classic spot in the downtown Milford area. I highly recommend it.
