  Surpassing worst service experience ever. Brought vacuum in Oct. 19 - called after expected completion date Oct 27 - was told we were next in line and would be completed before the move — post move we call again - it will be a month til all is unloaded.go today - dec 11 - was told they ordered a part that may never come. No apology - no nothing. Truly unbelievable. Should absolutely be reported to better businesss bureau if for no other reason than to flag unparalleled incompetency

  This is the best place for all things sewing. But they lost their lease and are moving to a smaller location. So sad. But knowing Steve's, they'll bounce back with something better.

  They are primarily an appliance store but do have a fabric selection. Not particularly large or varied, and the staff is decidedly unhelpful and unfriendly.I don't go there very often, and perhaps have encountered the only unfriendly people on the staff, but I see no reason to return.

  I came here with the wife to find a new sewing machine. We traipsed around the store very focused on figuring out the best machine for us and the employees were still super patient and helpful. They answered all our obnoxious questions and seemed genuinely concerned that we get the best machine for us. I highly recommend this store.
  
  Also they have Miele vacuums, which are, simply, the best vacuums on the market.

  Great service, but expensive.
  
  My family and I have been using Steve's for 30 years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend them for vacuum repairs, but make sure that the repair is worthwhile, meaning that with vacuums so cheap these days sometimes you're better off just buying a new one. If you do decide to get your vacuum repaired, Steve's has always provided good and efficient service. Things have always been repaired to my satisfaction.
  
  When it comes to purchasing a vacuum, Steve's has a lot of higher end stuff. They offer you a pretty good opportunity to try things out as well as good warranties.
  
  When it comes to purchasing vacuum parts and accessories, I find that you usually do better online, at least when it comes to price. But if you're looking for something right away, or trying to find something that is hard to find Steve's will always have it or get it for you.
  
  It's nice to have this kind of old school, family-owned shop still in business. Steve's maybe on the pricy side, but you do get what you pay for.

  We have bought sewing machines, vacuums and air filters for ourselves and our daughter at Steve's over the years.Steve is always pleasant and helpful and takes the time to understand what your needs are. Although we don't often need service, when I have, the same pleasant and knowledgeable experience prevails.
