Once,had to ask busboy to seat us.Waited 15 minutes for bread and relishes. Waited another half an hour for waitress to take order. Waited 45 minutes for food.Waitress never came back to check if she could refill anythinghad to ask busboy who brought our food.Waited for check,finally went up to register to pay,asked waitress for it,she was so dizzy she went back to the table and tried to give it to companion. One of the worst waitresses ever. Damn shame,because the food is great. Next time, had same waitress, who was better. It was much less busy,which had everything to do with it. So,go early is the message here.

Best sausage in town, smoke or fresh. All kind of beer, IPA, Tap, ETC, also can't beat the price. Best dinner on Friday 4:00 pm to 8:pm.

My family has had every major celebration for the past 40+ years at Steve's. My mother's funeral was held away from Hegewisch, and I was so happy Steve's catered. The food was delivered on time. It was delicious (as it always is). I can't say enough good things about Steve's.
