Visited 12/1/17. They seated us even though we got there toward closing. We never felt rushed. Our server was exceptionally good, funny and gracious (even when I accidentally knocked my glass on the floor). The food was quite good. Had the baked chicken - very flavorful. I'd highly recommend them!

Great restaurant ambiance, but the food is mediocre at best taking into account the price. I ordered the Eggs Shakshuka for brunch and an under season skillet of tomato sauce came out with two pieces of garlic bread and an egg swimming around. Nothing impressive to say the least.

Lovely eatery. The Bloody Mary alone is reason to come here. You can specify how you like it in a myriad of ways and it's quite good with generous fresh garnishes.

The Eggs Benedict was decent (you know how hard it is to find a good classic Benny). The Hollandaise had good flavor and consistency. Eggs were a bit overdone but that's my only complaint. The service was friendly and the atmosphere on the patio in Autumn on Newbury is delightful. Stop in - you won't be disappointed.

I come here for 2 things. The Warm Goat Cheese appetizer and the Steak Frites. Both are always timely, the proper temperature and delicious. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu.

My wife and I came to visit our daughter and have lunch.
    We wanted to sit outside.
It took longer than what we were told but that was ok.
Our meals were delicious and filling.
I must say Emily was terrific. She was very accomodating and gave us great service.
    We'll be back!

The food was much too heavy -
Especially for a summer evening. Plus, it was underseasoned. The place was not busy but the doorman took 10 minutes to seat us. Additionally. I've now called back twice retrieve a receipt and have been told both times the restaurant is too busy to handle requests like this. Poor customer service for bad and pricey food. Skip this place and try another - there are too many good restaurants in Boston- avoid this one.

Worth every positive accolade. Superb service. Fabulous food. Try the pulled chicken pasta--sounds so simple (and it is) but oh my, so delicious!

WATCH OUT FOR YOUR CREDIT CARD BILL! First time i was there was 2 years ago. I remember the food was good. And recently i've been there twice, both times the experience were not pleasant. The first time, the waitress was just so rude. Not much services provided, and seemed like she wanted us to just get out of the restaurant asap. The second time was a couple of weeks ago. Four of us went there for brunch, and in a couple of days we found out that the waitress Emily B decided to tip herself more than her customers wanted to. All of us were charged more tips than what we wanted to tip, which was around 16%. I called in the restaurant a week and half ago requested to talk with their manager, but the waiter put me on hold three times and finally took a note for me saying his manager would call me back, which as you can imagine has never happened. One of the friends came here with us runs a blog about food and travel. We are certainly not returning to this place again, and hope others know about our experience as well. Businesses that don't care about their services and customers don't usually last long.

YUM good, large portions, great location! Outdoor seating is hard to get on weekends, but is super fun :)

Menu has been changed and not for the better. Ordered a Greek Salad and here's what came: A lot of greens, one half of an olive two pieces of cheese a few cherry tomatoes and some strips of cooked chicken. I asked for more of the above and got it but all in all it was very disappointing.

My friend and I had the day off so we came to sit on the patio for lunch since we both heard really good things about this place. We were greeted fairly promptly by our server who seemed awesome, and who briefly explained they were having some difficulty with transition and having enough servers in their sections on the patio. We were both like, no worries, were both waitessses so we got you. He got us sangria, asked us to let him know how it was, and we never were acknowledged by him again. Which I get if the server for that section came on and he was transferring us to them, but we watched him take the order of a table sat after us and we were ready to order when he had set the sangria down. Eventually some other woman came by twenty minutes later and asked if we were ready. We ordered, food was great but no one did a quality check and we had to ask for boxes after another long time of waiting to just be acknowledged. Just had really high expectations for service that weren't met but we will try it again, maybe on a slower day! Potato salad and sangria were great and servers were very personable when they finally made it to our table.

This restaurant was suggested by the front desk staff at the Boston park plaza where I was staying. It was about a ten minute walk. Not to bad at all. When I arrived at around noon, there was about a 45 minute wait for a party of two. I ended up going to the bar and finding a table within about ten minutes. The build your own bloody Mary's. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Totally worth it no matter the price. It was literally the best Bloody Mary I ever had. And I had a ham and cheese omelette. That was also amazing. I literally have nothing negative to say about my experience at this restaurant. Everything was fast and tasty and I was completely satisfied. If i ever come back to Boston I definitely will be finding my way back yo Stephanie's!

We made a reservation for lunch at a corner table - that was nice to know that they read that request on the Open Table and seated us in a corner. I was looking forward to lunch with a special friend as I had never been to Stephanie's before -
We both ordered the goat cheese and walnut/pear salad, hot, black tea and a cup of home-made clam chowder. Simple enough. Here is where things went downhill. The sliced pears on the pear salad still had the plastic pricing label on each slice (did the salad chef not notice!?), The lettuce greens were soggy, I didn't get black tea; it was herbal tea and it wasn't very hot! As I was walking home I realized that the clam chowder was never served! I hope I wasn't charged for it. So, basically I paid $23.50 for a serving of goat cheese encrusted in walnuts! Very surprising. I am not sure it was the best day at Stephanie's.
