I go every time I'm on Hilton Head. Fun atmosphere decent food, reasonable price. Excellent beer selection. Live music most nights. SADLY STEAMERS CLOSED DOWN IN LATE 2016. A new restaurant was in the process of getting opened when I was there last. It seemed nice but all I have to go on is one sandwich ordered to-go

Been going there for over 10 years as this is the very restaurant me and my wife went when we first met. Food was great back then but with price increase over the years, along with deteriating services and food quality and discontinuation of oyester bucket, we stopped going a few years back. Last year, we arrived late to the town with every where else being crowded, we decided to give ut another try, and it did improve, so we are giving it a 5, 2 and now 4 in score. Must try is their she crab soup and cajun steam seafood pot.

Decent place, went to meet friends because they supposedly had a huge beer menuwhich they did! Beers from 42 countries and 23 states. Many nice local options as well. We went late and weren't eating, so can't speak to the food.

Best balsamic vinaigrette dressing I ever had and I've had a lot! Huge beer selection, but it's all pricey bottles. We had great service from our server.

It was ok. Food nothing to brag about. In my opinion there are better local seafood restaurants on the island. Service was bad. That is coming from my wife and she never complains. Restaurant seemed out dated. We will not be back. I agree that this is a tourist trap.

Great food, great service! We ate here on a Sunday. The staff were attentive and happy. The food was cooked right and brought out fresh! Great place for kids as well.

So we tried to come here a day before we actually were actually able to get in without a 45 minute wait for 2 people. No biggie we understand that happens and we assumed it was a very popular place so we decided we had to go there. We were able to get in later that week, so upon entering there were a couple people sitting at tables but other than that there was no one in sight. We waited for a couple minutes, since there was no sign or anything to let us know, before someone came from the back and told us to sit anywhere. So once we sat down we were given menus and didn't see our server for another 10 minutes. She took our drink order and that took another 10 minutes to arrive. Then we ordered our food and it came fairly quickly. However, for all the hype and the extended wait that suggested it would be great, we were dissappointed. Also the waiter was rather rude. Especially in the sense that we didn't see her for a good half hour or more after we got our food and had to ask another server for some sugar. The only times she spoke to us was to take our orders. If you're looking for a place to eat with great food and service I would go across the parking lot to skillets. That's where we went when there was the 45 minute wait for here and it was fantastic.
