I just had two sofas and two club chairs cleaned today (both upholstered). The bill was about $400 (I was quoted $345, but added a disinfectant which was an extra $45, plus I tipped each gentleman $20, so total with tax this was about $440). I have never had this service done before, so not sure if this was a good value or not, nor do I know how deep of a clean it was. Stephen and Kenny were extremely professional and nice and seemed to do a good job, 10/10. They were in my unit for about an hour. My two sofas have duck feathers in the pillows, so apparently that means you can only get a lighter clean. The two chairs are vintage chintz (cotton blend), but because it’s vintage/reupholstered there was no tag and no way to verify the fabric. I had noted I was nervous that mice had been on them when in a storage unit for a few years, so Kenny suggested using the disinfectant and pointed out places it was needed, so that was helpful. Overall I think this was a good experience. $400 seems a bit steep, but that’s probably in part for the convenience of using a national brand like Stanley Steamer, vs a local mom & pop cleaner. Scheduling is especially easy when using a national brand (can call any time). I will likely do this 1x per year (and will decide later whether to go with S.S. again or a local cleaner, since there are many in Upper NW DC).

I’ve used many different carpet cleaning companies and Stanley Steemer is the best. Their communication with the customer is top notch from ordering service, letting you know when the technician will arrive, who the technician is and follow-up communications.
Kenny is the best Technician I have encountered. He is professional, always on time, he explains what he is going to do, explains the cost, does a great job and cleans up. Having dogs in my house makes my carpets stained and full of dog odors and Stanley Steemer gets it all out. Thank you Kenny!

Originally I received a referral to have Stanley Steemer clean my air ducts and they did an amazing job. We'd never considered or interacted with the company prior. Then we hired them to clean our 2 couches, hardwood floors, and steam clean the interior of our car. Our home and car looks and smells incredible. The Stanley Steemer team is fantastic, extremely trained, communicative and professional. Kenny cleaned both our couches and hardwood floors with especial precision and care. I highly recommend and plan to hire them again in the future.

We will be using Stanley Steamers again. We highly recommend. I had my dryer vent cleaned for the first time. From scheduling to the technicians coming out it was a very smooth process. The technicians were on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Our flex duct was holding water and our technicians were very professional and helpful with solutions to fix the issue.

Emmanuel & Santos arrived to clean my air vents. They were very courteous, on time knowledgeable & pleasant. They addressed all my questions & concerns. They were organized & clean. I give them both 5 Stars. Great customer service. I feel they can do their job better, if they had state of the art tablets to work with. It would be easier on the staff & customer to process the billing without glitches. I will use them again & refer to family and friends.
