I had an awesome experience refinancing with Standard Mortgage Company. Kasey Sartin was my loan officer. She played interference for potential problems and helped me with advice. I felt like I was dealing with my family, it was so comfortable. Kasey let me know where I would face difficulties in my refinance and where I had strengths toward getting my loan. My interest rate went down from 5.25 to 3.75. My mortgage went from 30 years to 15 years with the a lower mortgage note. Standard Mortgage knows how to pick personnel. With so much incompetence in the business world today, I'm glad I am dealing with a company that chooses competent, friendly employees.

Kasey with Standard Mortgage was incredible to work with. She was professional, easy to communicate with, and most importantly we felt comfortable that she was very honest and ethical. In the complicated world of home closing which we moved from Louisiana to Florida Kasey was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the process. Ask for Kasey when you need to close on a home.

I only gave them one star because they never sold my mortgage to another company. Other than that, I don't know what all of these other people really experienced, but my wife and I were always met with the ugliest attitudes, very rude comments when trying to resolve issues with their customer service department. All persons we dealt with were usually very rude, no amount of kindness was ever shown by anyone we ever spoke to, no understanding of any issues. and most recently, getting them to return an email or a call took an act of congress. Just to answer simple questions i had about my account were either ignored or we were met with a response that seemed like I should know the answers to something I was confused about. I don't recommend this company to anyone if they are looking for good customer service, because after 14 years, I have only dealt with one nice helpful person in their Shreveport office. I am glad to be selling my home and not have to deal with this company at all anymore. Good luck

Kasey with Standard mortgage was absolutely amazing to work with! When my wife and I decided to take plunge into home ownership we were very nervous and did not know what to expect. Immediately Kasey provided a professional yet family like support and guidance through the entire process!
