Very nice place. It is a great location in downtown. I have stayed here several times.

Our party of 7 went to Noggin Room for lunch at 11:45am on Saturday, October 28th, 2017. The restaurant was not even half full. We were met by a very rude manager the refused to seat us at a table that was meant for four. We asked for a larger table. We were denied as their larger table was 9 top. He said he was not willing to "loose 2 seats" by giving us a bigger table. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. We will never go back.

Tried to get a table for 7 but the manager tried to cram us all into a table for 4 because he didn't want to waste table space. That is what he told us when we asked for a bigger table. He was so sure that he was going to lose space, well he lost our business. The worst customer service ever.

Walked in to be seated with a party of 7 and they insisted on sitting us at a table that could maybe squeeze 6. We asked for a different booth but it seated 9 & they refused to give up two seats. So they said we could sit at a high top table, but I told them I am not putting my 3 year old on a bar stool. So our only other option was an awful corner booth with two chairs that might, again, be able to only seat 6. We left & will not be going back due to how unaccomidating they were & how rude the management was.

Great location within walking distance to myriad parks, bars, and shops in downtown Petoskey. Awesome historic building that is attentively maintained. Our budget room didn’t have much of a view but was nicely appointed with modern amenities among the classic styling the only exception being the keyed lock which wasn’t any problem. Water view rooms are available but at about double the price. The room along with the rest of the hotel was immaculately clean with great attention to detail. The Noggin Room Restaurant and bar in the basement has great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast in the hotel dining room was excellent and completely covered by our voucher. While there are other, cheaper places to stay in the area, it’s hard to beat the location as well as the charm of an original turn-of-the-century resort.

Had a great time staying at this hotel! Excellent location with easy walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The hotel is beautifully kept and each room has adorable antique furniture to keep up with the theme. Some rooms have a view of the lake, but if you're doesn't just have a meal in the delicious restaurant on the second floor- stunning! This place is NOT handicap friendly (I could take the elevator partly but still had to lug my bag up a few stairs) and uses good old fashioned keys. And apparently Ernest Hemingway stayed here!

Really cute old hotel. Pub downstairs, and on a nice day you can sit out on the veranda overlooking the lake and dine or have a drink or just relax. Very laid back place, friendly staff. Located near shops and restaurants.

What a beautiful place. Set right off of downtown so everything is just a short walk away, and the view of the water was incredible. Would've enjoyed an amazing sunset from our balcony (room with a view) if it didn't start raining. Noggin room is nothing to write home about, but breakfast in the Rose room was divine on the porch. And I couldn't even tell the hotel was from 1899 until I read it, really well maintained! And the bed was awesome too, not hard like chain hotels. Obviously a really great place and we will be back here to Petoskey soon, highly recommend!

The hotel and service were awesome. We attended an outdoor wedding and the view overlooking the bay was gorgeous. I would highly recommend the Stafford Perry.

We went to the Perry Hotel memorial weekend for our anniversary. It was so lovely. From the views to the relaxed elegant atmosphere. Really made the celebration that much more memorable. Loved it

The Perry Hotel more than exceeded our expectations! Evan Chestnutt was our contact. Her professionalism and attentiveness made us feel thoroughly taken care of leading up to the wedding and the day of. The Perry Hotel went above and beyond to help us create the vision of our wedding. Our reception was held in their colorful and lush gardens with Lake Michigan as the backdrop. The incredible sunset view was a stunning highlight. Guests were thrilled with the accommodations and hospitality of the hotel staff. We can't wait to go back to visit for anniversaries to come!
