Great camp ground very nice owners. Poor cell phone reception but still works. Was a little bummed out that I was lead to believe I was getting a huge a military discount for being a disabled veteran and in the end it was standard rates. 169 dollars for 6 days!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The campground is on different levels so it adds privacy. The pool is good and the bath house is clean. We will definitely be back. It is about 1/2 mile down a gravel road just an FYI. That was not a deal breaker for us.

Elkwood is a GREAT place to camp. I'm lucky to be a niece of Tony and Kelley who are super generous and nice. I was impressed by the campground they have made their own. My family was privileged to stay in the front of the campground where the snowmobile riders usually stay. Great place.. the stars are beautiful at night, and the campground is not far from a lake and public access site. Camping the way it should be!

We stayed for 3 nights coming very late Tuesday night on June 27th, 2017. Tony, the owner, let us stay in a drive through space that was already reserved but not occupied that night so we didn't have to maneuver to our space until daytime. No problem with the hard-packed road coming up - not paved but wide and smooth. The camp wonderfully maintained and peaceful. Unlike some commercial rv parks you're not jammed together with no breathing space. At night the stars are incredible. No ambient light to dim your viewing. One camper has been coming here 20 years. He said it was getting run down until 3 years ago, Tony, the current owner took over the park and turned things around. There's a well maintained pool, and the restrooms, and showers are better than most of the camps we've been too. The owners are among the friendliest people we've ever met. All in all I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay here was. It's a great camp and if we ever plan coming back up here (we drove from Texas) we'll definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed at Elkwood Campground for the first time for 4 days and I must say it was the best experience we have ever had. We rented the trailers they had and they were nicer then you would expect them to be. The owners were so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. The campground was very clean and the kids enjoyed the pool which I must also say is very well maintained. The showers and bathrooms were also a very nice feature about this campground. Everything was very clean and the water in the showers stayed warm the entire time. I can't say enough good things about our experience at this campground!!! I would highly recommend staying here and I will be returning as well!!!

This is a great place. We just finished a week there and we can't wait to go back. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The camp sites are spatious with some looking like they were cut out of nature and are waiting for you to be absorbed into. The owners are the friendliest people. Please don't go here, I want it all to myself.

Absolutely love staying at Elkwood, the sites is always clean and they have done so much work since last year it is amazing. And the owners, Kelley and Tony are wonderful people and make it a fun place to stay. Stayed there three times and not one time have we had any complaints.

Love the peacefulness of the area as well!

I usually do not do the whole review thing, but I feel like I have to this time. This is by far the best camp site I have ever been to! We stayed in the private cabin they have available which is absolutely gorgeous! This is the cleanest camp ground ever! Tony and Kelley are the owners and they are extremely nice and do such a great job at taking care of their property. I noticed they clean their bathrooms and showers at least six times a day if not more! They also sell wood on site which is super cheap and they even deliver it to you. We will definitely be coming back to Elkwood camp.

Elkwood is def the HANDS DOWN greatest place to camp ever!! There couldn't be better owners!! After going there several times we continue to come here time and time again! Pool is refreshing and crystal clear!! Bathrooms and showers are clean!! What really makes this a GREAT campground are the owners! There are not enough words to describe what GREAT people they are!! Tony and Kelley are absolutely amazing and do great upkeep around the campground!! The more we get to know them the more they are part of the family!! I would HIGHLY recommended Elwood and I will promise no one will be disappointed!! :)
