Under the administration of Carolyn Wilkins my child has been PHYSICALLY bullied (ie; CHOKED, kicked and pinched) on multiple occasions by one child in her class and NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. It took a phone call to DCF and a visit from one of their Child Protective Investigators to get any kind of reaction. My impression from staff educational staff members is that this school is not safe and that the teachers are not supported by their administrators. The vice principal resigned half way through the school year.
If you’ve just moved to the area I recommend Rivers Edge or, if you can, enroll your child on the waiting list for a magnet school.
If Carolyn Wilkins is Principal, YOUR CHILD IS NOT SAFE!!!

This is not the kind of schoor your child to achieve in. This is a horrible school that needs to be closed it is a waste of taxpayers money.
