This used to be an awesome swimming/BBQ area for families. Now it's quite expensive to park. And the people seem to play music very loud and leave garbage everywhere. I honestly saw some lady clean out her baby's diaper in the water a few years back. Nice hiking trails. Lots of "no swimming" signs due to inexperienced people being stupid. I would never go here in a weekend again.

This is a great spot. When it's open. The state cut a lot of their funding and now it is rarely open and even then only open to a very limited number of cars.

Water is very clean. You need to enforce the rules against loud music. Very annoying and rude to others. Nice picnic areas. Bathroom walls need to be scoured clean.

Giving 4 starts only BC I think the swimming area should be a little deeper. Its only maybe 4 ft Nice picnic and BBQ areas, clean beach they rake it all the time. Nice place to fish or just relax

Beautiful views but it's no longer the nice place to visit anymore. Garbage was everywhere, no one shares the tables! People had 3-5 tables and weren't even using them! Bathrooms were beyond disaster and weren't even usable from how dirty and unsanitary they were! The water @ the beach was dirty and murky. I can't see myself taking my family there anymore and we used to go there at least 2-3 times a season. It's a disgrace the state would ever let this place get this bad and keep raising prices for parking on top of it all!

They have this swim at your own risk session when life gaurds are on break or off duty. Really cool for guys that can take care of themselves. Very nice walking path in the woods.

A great park when you can get in. Something needs to be done about the out of towners coming in and taking over. Would also be nice to have a larger swimming area, or even utilize the other side between the boat launch and swimming area.

I hiked this park off season. There was ample free parking, and the park was pretty busy for a chilly March day. Some of the trails were a bit muddy due to the mild winter. The view at the top of the trail was excellent. The space ship house peeking out of the mountain was interesting as well. Overall, I would hike here again.
