My biggest problem was the lack of power by the bed. Otherwise the room was very spacious, the staff were very nice, and the beds we're very comfortable. This wasn't an issue while I was there but I imagine a little bit of snow/ice would make it nearly impossible to enter or exit the parking lot. The hill is very steep.
So disappointing! Love Marriott, but this was a complete disaster. The room had garbage pushed by cleaning under the furniture. The toilet was backed up (not by me) and I had to use a plunger to unplug my own toilet (that was a first when I'm paying), the iron burned my $100 shirt even on the lowest setting and there was no hot water in the entire hotel. Avoid this one at all costs!!!
breakfast was no good. beds uncomfortable no hot tub. it was quiet though.
The rooms are spacious and arranged well, which makes them feel larger and more open. All of the amenities are available. It is a very nice place to stay, and the price is extremely reasonable. I will stay here again in the future.
I liked my stay there a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful to us. The room was arranged differently than most rooms. There were several good restaurants in the area and it was close to where I had business.
Room was big. Facility was clean. Staff was friendly. Location was fine - near the interstate and the mall but not really walking distance to anything. Pricing was a good value - this is not the place to stay if you want a great pool, gym, or breakfast - but I'd go back nonetheless.
At first glance the place is great. Nice furniture in the lobby, etc. Breakfast in the morning was decent. Wonderful oatmeal. At first glance the room looks good too. But the WiFi network doesn't have a password and isn't secured. And I question how well the rooms are cleaned. There were two stains on the floor when I walked in to the bathroom area. I also found a bit of food on the floor. (The food may have been a family member of mine. Not sure. The stains were there before we were though.) One of the light bulbs in the room was out and a lamp was missing a bolt.
This hotel is right next to interstate 71 so it is very NOISY! It is so bad that you can tell what type of cars are passing by with noise level. It feels like you camp right next to roads. Ceiling is so low that you can have to deal with noise from up and side of room. If need a good night sleep, bring your own earplugs. Also, the facility is very old amd rundown with minor upgrade such as climate control. I am very surprised that this hotel is with Marriott brand. I used to believe Google review but I strongly disagree with positive reviews for this hotel except the quality of service.
Great looking room with not a lot of wasted space. The breakfast in the more was fantastic. Definitely worth the stay.
Great place. I come here frequently for business trips. Staff is very helpful, considerate and friendly. One of the best options in Dayton South.
Great, large room with a comfortable bed. Quiet location, no traffic noise. Good hot breakfast each morning. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed here for a week and it was a quiet, restful stay. We were on the 4th floor away from the elevators so other locations might be noisier but our room was great.
Interesting driveway, the entrance/exit is on a steep curvy hill. Front desk was extremely helpful. Continental breakfast was the same as other places, it was not bad. Room was clean, there was not a lot of hallway noise. The location was 20-25 minutes from the soccer field at Wright State University. The is a big selection of eateries nearby. Would stay here again if needing to be in Dayton.
