Every time I say "I'm never flying spirit again"
I somehow get roped in because of a cheap flight at a good time.
I've been at the terminal 4 hours now, waiting to depart for a flight that should have landed at it's destination before I've even boarded because "we are waiting on a flight attendant" who reportedly landed in Detroit 2 hours ago but hasn't been able to get here from the other terminal yet.
No food available, all shops closed, but don't worry. They gave me a $50 voucher for my troubles.
Hopefully this time I can truly say "never again spirit"response / report this review -

Many reasons why I don't recommend Spirit airlines. 1. They changed our flights three times before we left. 2 multiple emails and text on the day of our flight asking if we would be flexible to change our flights. 3. No updates were given about our flight which was delayed by 4 hours yet repeated text and emails about asking if we could change our flight plans. 4. Once we arrived at a destination 4 hours delayed we waited on the tarmac not yet at the gate for an additional hour and 30 minutes. 5. Our return flight was delayed by 2 hours. 6. Our baggage was delayed at baggage claim by an hour and a half.
For these reasons and a few more I give it a one-star rating. I highly do not recommend. I will not fly Spirit airlines again.response / report this review -

The worst airline ever. They delayed the flight by an hour 4 times and then cancelled it. They claimed that it was due to the weather which made no sense since we had good weather at both locations. Bunch of liars. I’ll be lucky to get my money back.

The meaning you get what you pay for is absolutely true when it comes to spirit. Every time I travel, I travel Spirit. Due to my last experience, I probably will not travel spirit again. Reasons being The flight attendants are either burnt out or their customer service is dropping tremendously. Yes, the seats are absolutely uncomfortable that'sa given. Anyone over size 5, I don't care who you are male or female, or if you are over 5ft 5 in with long legs, you have no room ( get the larger seats). The seats are extremely small to the point that when you go to sit down, you are sitting on top of someone literally. The passenger beside me came to sit down and if I moved to my right I would have been leaning on the person to my right, So trying to move far enough over for the other passenger to sit down yet not lean on the person next to me this passenger was still able to sit on my arm which caused my arm to hit something metal in between the seats and caused severe bruising to my arm. The options to upgrade your seat to a larger seat or a place with more leg room goes extremely quick even with them allowing you to check in early, it's not early enough to get one of those larger seats they were gone the moment you're able to check in.
