Very crowded with a wait but pretty fast wait. The food was inexpensive and portions we're generous although servers were slow.

Came to eat tonight and ordered the kung pao chicken, beef chowmein and order of white rice. Portions are very generous and staff were attentive!

Very disappointed for food dined in last week. Most dishes were either less seasoned or poorly flavored. The overall quality is terrible. Suspect chief had been changed.
Ever been my favorite restaurant, but won't visit any more.

Came here on July 1st 2017, with 3 of my friends for dinner at around 19:20 (7:20pm). It was a busy Saturday evening and it is a July 4 weekend so we did expect a wait. We waited for about 10 minutes. Then, it was another 10 minutes until our orders were taken. I ordered the beef tripe and tendon in dried pot while my friends got the walnut shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, and chungqing brown pork. Finally we were served with water and hot tea. The food came one by one about 5-10 minutes after our order. My food came last compared to my friends, which is funny to us because when I order something, mine would usually be the first one to come out.
The food was good and I liked the beef tripe and tendon. According to the menu, it is new. My dish was spicy and you can see how much jalapeno they used on my food. The beef tripe and tendon was tasty and had a spicy kick to it. It is not as spicy as I thought it would be, but for those who are sensitive, do not order it as even a little piece of beansprouts had a spicy kick to my friend's taste buds. The chungqing brown pork was good. I actually thought it would be dry, but it was juicy. The broccoli looked and tasted fresh. The walnut shrimp was good too, but it wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be. Same can be said for the sweet and sour chicken. My friend said the sweet and sour chicken had a bit more batter than the chicken. I guess he was disappointed. Overall though, I will say that it is good depending on what you order. The tea was good, just what you expected a tea to taste like. Same for the rice, but it was not a lot of rice though (which is typically the case for most restaurants whenever rice is involved.) There was only enough rice for about maybe 2 people and it was about 2 or 3 bowls per person at most.
The service needs some improvement. We should have gotten our waters first before waiting for our order. Almost all the restaurants I have been to serve drinks first before taking an order. I was a bit thirsty while waiting for our orders to be taken. Getting attention from the server was also difficult too as there were only maybe 3 servers who are running around the restaurant. We did not even get offered a water refill. We also had to get the attention of a server to getting our bill. It feels like they are short staffed, but I can understand that it was a busy evening as tables were full of people. They can use a couple more people to help out the demands of the customers.
Pricing wise it is a bit pricey, but reasonable. We got good portions for the price. The tea was free as it was not charged in our bill. However, the rice was charged 4 dollars for 4 people, so it is not free.
Overall, I think the food was good at a reasonable price, but the service can use more work as it was slow and we had to get a server's attention to attend to our needs. I liked it enough to say that it is good.
PS: I almost posted this review on Spicy City Chinese Restaurant until I realized that it is not the one I went as we were able to walk to Nijiya Market right after. Can not believe they have similar names on same street and serves almost the same food, but it is Spicy House I went next to Nijiya Market.

Wife's lamb meat was poor quality with too much sinue and fat and an over spicing with cumin. My duck meat was red rather than brown - no idea how they prepared it - it tasted horrible! Half the wait staff we encountered don't speak English. The bathrooms are filthy. For a 60$ meal in this place, we will not go back.

Food was delicious! The only downside is that the waiters hardly speak English, so it's a little difficult to communicate with them.

Awesome food! The hot pot was awesome. I'm not certain that I would have tried as many great things without having some Chinese friends to recommend certain dishes, so ask the staff for recommendations!

My favourite Sichuan restaurant so far, also easily the most authentic. The prices are mind-boggingly low for the amount of food you get. We're still exploring other places but we keep coming back here.

If there was an option to give 0 stars to this place, I would. DO NOT GO HERE!! The serving size was good but the customer service was terrible. They were rude and they slammed our glasses on the table right when we walked in. I tipped them according to their service but then the lady got mad at me for not tipping them that much. In the end, I signed for what I wanted to tip for but they charged me more. I would have never noticed it if I had not checked my bank statement. BE WARE!!
